Breakfast With Bond

Well not really. I wish! HaHaHa Actually, it was more like breakfast at La Madeleine and then going to see the movie Skyfall featuring 007 Daniel Craig this past Saturday. I had a spinach, tomato, mushroom and cheddar cheese omelet, croissant and freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast. Everything was scrumdiddlyumptious. I then took home a box of treats (chocolate croissants, cookies and a few tarts). La Madeleine has a delightful bakery and they serve breakfast, lunch & dinner.

After breakfast, I went to see Skyfall at the AMC Elmwood Palace 20 Theater. This movie has been on my radar for awhile! I previously blogged about both the OPI Skyfall nail lacquer collection and Tom Ford suits for Skyfall. How was the movie? It was awesome! Daniel Craig is a hell of an actor and the suits Tom Ford tailored for him were impeccable. There's nothing like a sharp dressed man! HaHaHa :)

What am I wearing? Vintage Talbots! Chocolate brown asymmetrical top (similar HERE) and plaid pants (similar HERE). I don't have many (because they cost so much), but every shoe I've owned that was "Made In Italy" is super duper comfortable. HaHaHa Do you find that to be true? I loved these so, I purchased two pairs! HaHaHa You guys have a great week.

I wanted to see Skyfall but we didn't get tickets since the seats would have put us too close to the front. I suppose I'm just too "old" for that now (I used to do this when I was in my teenage years....how dated am I?).
Instead, we went to see Argo!

  51. This day sounds pretty much like heaven to me - and a little bit like my own experience seeing Skyfall in Paris :) Starting the day with delicious French pastries, going out on the town in shoes made in Italy (not always affordable but worth every penny in my book, the Italians really understand feet!) and then making my way to the cinema to indulge in two and a half hours of sharply dressed Daniel Craig in action. Nice to hear you enjoyed it as much as I did!
