I would like to thank everyone for the sweet 'get well' comments on my last blog post. Your comments truly helped me. I'm feeling better, but still taking things slooowww. I thank you all and can't wait to read your blogs. Now, have you guys been naughty or nice? HaHaHa :)Twas' The Night Before Christmas... I looked at my calendar and Christmas is nearly two weeks away! Amazing! I have a lot to blog about, so let's get started. Has anyone tried LUSH beauty & bath products? The first time I heard about LUSH, was through other bloggers. LUSH has been on my beauty radar, but I haven't had a chance to try them. They have a wonderful philosophy! They don't test on animals, use only fresh organic fruits & vegetables in their products and do a plethora of other things to protect you & the environment. Their website ships products WORLDWIDE.
My good friend Leah (from Cincinnati), surprised me with an early Christmas present. She sent me LUSH's Twas The Night Before Christmas holiday gift box.You guys, its FILLED TO THE BRIM with all kinds of bath & beauty treats. Everything looks and smells so good. The packaging is amazing! Purple and gold are so regal. Santa and his reindeer are flying through the night sky. I was fascinated with the pastel colored packaging peanuts! I decided to re-use them for my blog pictures! Thank You Leah! I can't wait to try everything.Have A Great Monday Everybody! Rainy & stormy here today!

That's so nice of your friend! :-) I have to admit though that I'm not a big fan of Lush - they have shops all over the place here and just walking past them makes me feel nauseous due to the overwhelming and far too sweet smells. Hope you're feeling better, just take it easy. xo
ReplyDeleteYou lucky girl! I think the best way to receive LUSH products is as a gift... I've always loved the things I've tried from there, but when it comes to going to the store, the scent of all the products mingled together makes me turn away before I even get in the door :( Their Dream Cream is the best, though. Enjoy! What a perfect way to make yourself feel better after an illness :)

I love the LUSH store, I go in there and it smells amazing!! I love the bath bombs with the glitter in them, they smell gorgeous and then you have glitter all over yourself for going out, haha!! The one here is so nice, the girls that work in there are sweet, I could work in there really :)) I like their policy as well, it's important for companies to be more aware of the environment and it's inhabitants. I hope you continue to get better and enjoy all of your goodies too :) Happy Monday petal!! <3

So glad to hear you're on the mend Kim! What a sweet X-mas gift. You will enjoy it for sure! I usually can't walk by a LUSH store w/o going in cause they always smell divine and I'm in better mood afterwards whether I buy anything or not :) I do love love their bath bombs and their company credo is one I can get behind as well.

ReplyDeleteomgosh kim, first off feel super better!! i was prone to earaches as a kid & had a really bad one a few years back (i couldn't hear out of both ears, it drove me absolutely CRAZY)-- so just thinking about what that felt like makes me wish for your recovery 500 times over!! keep taking it slow & before you know it you'll be 100% *hugs*

A lovely gift to help you feel better! I'm a fan of Lush products especially their gorgeous coloured soaps which make the bathroom smell nice too! Anyhow, I LOVE LUSH!! Discovered them in Germany in 2008 and addicted to all their bath stuff! Just smells so good! :) I even tried their face stuff for awhile! Be careful because your wallet may be sorry that you were introduced! LOL!!
