Table Of Sweets
What's a getaway without a little indulgence? Ok, overindulgence. But that's what vacations are all about! LOL I had room service bring an assortment of sweets last night and a bottle of moscato (SMILE) *hiccup*. Cheesecake. Red velvet cake w/ cream cheese butter cream. Chocolate cake w/ chocolate mousse and chocolate butter cream. I could only sample each (they were huge hunks of cake), but the bottle of moscato? It's GONE! >.< Oh and lookie look! Some equally as sweet BEAUTY TREATS that I'll be reviewing and giving away in December! Now tell me, what kind of cake and wine do YOU like? I'm loving white wine.

haha is it bad that I thought I'd have a go at eating all those slices of cake, after reading you only sampled a bit of each? They look so tasty! :)

Yum, yum, yum! All the cakes look great. We should all indulge once in a while right? I love muscat wine too and would have happily finished it!

All of these sweets look amazing! I love red wine (Pinot Noir or Tempranillo, for exaple) on fall/winter season and white wine on the summer (Chardonnay) :) And I like every cake ;)

I can't drink wine for health reasons but I used to love red wine...and some sorts of white wine. I come from a region with a long tradition of making and drinking wine so I still enjoy its smell (if nothing else)...and I use it when I cook (because than the alcohol in it evaporates so it is ok).

ReplyDeleteCake and wine sounds fabulous right about now - especially since I just finished a very healthy dinner of brown rice and vegetables. I'm sure I earned it ;) When it comes to cake, I'll try anything once, but my absolute favourite is black forest. You don't see it much anymore, but for me that just makes it even more special.

Everything looks so yummy!! I love anything chocolate and red wine. I pretty much indulge in chocolates everyday but they are the heathy types with more dark content and healthier ingredients. 😊
ReplyDeleteYou were absolutely right to treat yourself to some sweet treats and wine, Kim. Holidays are all about a little indulgence. Those cakes look so yummy. As you know, I have a sweet tooth and it's hard to say which cakes I prefer! I like so many types. White wine would be my choice too - especially Sauvignon Blanc!
