MAC X MARGE The Simpsons Collection: Pink Sprinkles Blush and Red Blazer Lipglass Review
When I saw blue, green and yellow eyeshadow palettes in the MAC x Marge Simpson's Collection (Summer '14), I was like HELL NOOOO (I'm not buying that! I can SKIP this damn collection! LOL)! I instantly DIS-missed purchasing anything from The MAC x Marge Simpsons Collection. Beauty bloggers began swatching what they purchased and blogging about it. I saw the color PINK! Whaaat!?! Wait, hold up! How did I miss something pink!?! Oh right Kim, you DIS-missed and didn't look at the ENTIRE collection. BIG MISTAKE...DOH! Not only was the blush a beautiful pink, it was called Pink Sprinkles (like a doughnut!)! Then there was a lip glass (gloss) called Red Blazer (it looked hot pink to me, but heyyy) and it paired well with the Pink Sprinkles blush! Oh man, what had I done! By the time I figured it all out, both were SOLD OUT! Well in October, I was on Twitter and an avid beauty watcher blogger tweeted that MAC restocked The Simpsons Collection. I jumped off the sofa, ran to my little laptop and clicked clicked away...I was praying, wishing and hoping it wasn't that eyeshadow. HaHaHa Low and behold they had Pink Sprinkles and Red Blazer. I placed my order and was a happy girl. Oh yes, and I thanked the beauty blogger! I'm just getting around to wearing both of them. It was gloomy and rained yesterday, so I needed a little pick me up. I wore this yellow top, my jeans and this PINK makeup to my local bakery to pick up some desserts and breakfast pastries! I received the nicest compliment. It would've been funny, if she would've asked me what makeup I'm wearing! Ohhh, The Simpsons! HAHAHA I never would've thought such pretty pinks would come from a SIMPSONS makeup collection :) SEE!!! You never, EVER know! Don't knock it, until you try it! The blush blended really well with my foundation makeup and the lipglass wasn't sticky. Wanted to share these with you, before the end of the year. Both Pink Sprinkles and Red Blazer are on eBay. The eyeshadow is STILL available at Macys ;)

Ahah, Kim you are unique! When I saw the collection, I wasnt a fan either, I dont use most of the colors it has but I must have skipped these products too as totally love them! Especially the blush, its a very nice shade and is so cute on you! Kim, pink is definitely your make up shade!:) Hugs dear! xo

I got two from this collection, Kim! I love The Simpsons! I got an eyeshadow palette and a lip gloss which I can't remember the names now, but I do use them all the time. I didn't know they re-stocked. I wonder if they did here in Canada too...hmmmmm

You look gorgeous Kim! That blush looks great on you! I was like that with the Playland Collection and I missed out on a pink lipstick because I dismissed the whole collection since some of the colors were just to super bright and I like bright colors! Haha! I haven't tried any blushes from MAC, but I hear they're great quality.

That is such a vibrant pink, very pretty. When I first saw that they had the Simpsons collection, I thought to myself, no way as well. I love watching the show, but I wasn't sure what kind of colors they'll come up with, lol! Now that I've seen the colors, MAC has done it once again :) Thanks for the review!

I don't even think I saw this collection, but I probably would have dismissed it much like you did. The Simpsons has never seemed very glamorous and red and green eyeshadow... yuck! But I have to say, I really love these colours, even thought the lip shade does definitely look pink. Glad you were able to snap them up, Kim!
