Easter Basket Treats

Happy Easter Everybody! Wishing you & your family a blessed and wonderful holiday!
I challenged myself this year to fill my Easter basket with treats, other than candy.

I'll be reviewing and giving away Too Faced's NEW Sugar Pop Eye Shadow Palette next week! It's truly delightful! I'll also be reviewing their NEW Melted Metal Lipstick in Macaron. Did you know I'm a lip balm fanatic! I found these Hostess Lip Balms (Sno Balls, Cupcakes & Twinkies) on eBay and fell in love with the tin outer packaging. I collect special packaging. Next year or year after, I'm hoping to convert one of the rooms in my home, into a beauty room. I need a room to display all my specialty makeup collections :) It brings me joy!

Kizzy from The Dainty Dolls House sent me these Jelly Belly roll-on perfumes! They smell so good. I'll be doing a post on them soon. Look what I found! Personalized, sweet candy-themed, notecards! These are from a company called Paper Source! They carry very unique gifts & stationery products. I'm always doing giveaways and sending out stuff, so I wanted something with my name on it. The candy theme was what sealed the deal. I love how they turned out.

Have you heard of Papyrus greeting cards & stationery? A couple of years ago, they illustrated for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York. That's when I first learned about them. They have the prettiest cards! They are usually textured & dimensional! I always look forward to their collections and luckily my small local grocer carries them. I plan on framing this Chocolate Bunny Candy Filled Easter Basket Card and displaying. My iphone 6 also got into the Easter spirit. This chocolate Easter rabbit is actually an iphone cover and from a distance it looks like a chocolate rabbit in a box. Really cool effect. Purchased on Etsy.

I'm going to be doing a Farmhouse Fresh Series next week! One of the items that will be featured is Fluffy Bunny! How Easter appropriate :) Farmhouse Fresh products are known for their natural ingredients, ethics and such. A very nice lady on Etsy (LoYoDesigns) made my Easter wreath this year. I really try to buy locally and support craftsmanship. It's a beautiful burst of pastel colors with glittered Easter eggs, flowers, mesh and white rabbit ears & spiral hat.

I couldn't resist A LITTLE CANDY! HaHaHa How cute is this PEZ white bunny dispenser. Extra Gum by Wrigleys came out with Easter Seasonal Gum ...They're sugarless and taste really good :) I've always been a fan of the Nestle Quik Chocolate Milk Bunny Rabbit. As a child, I loved his crazy-goofy ass! HaHaHa Scored this cool vintage tshirt with him on it. I love nostalgia! In life, it's the little things that make you happy! Immerse yourself in what makes YOU happy! HAPPY EASTER EVERYBODY! No Sample Sunday this weekend :)

  2. Wow, Kim, looks like the Easter spirit has definitely come to you! Love your iPhone cover, it's so cute! And the Pez dispenser reminded me of my childhood! In my country we are Orthodox Christians that's why we are celebrating next week, but Happy Easter to you!

  4. This is a wonderful basket!! I forgot all about those little perfumes, hahahaha!! I grabbed them in a sale and thought they smelled great! You're not actually meant to send that kind of stuff, but I couldn't resist, hahaha!! Anything food and sweets related, I was like, 'I have to send this' hahaha!! I hope you have a wonderful and blessed Easter my friend, enjoy time with family whatever you may do!! Lots of love and wishes xx

  5. What a smorgasbord of easter treats! I love the splashes of colour. Oh my, the iPhone6 Case is so cute. For the chocolate rabbit to look like in a box on the iPhone, it sure sounds like it is a very thick cover. Sugarless candy is way awesome and you know what? When I was a kid, I often saw Nestle Quik advertisement and the chocolate drink look so delicious. But I've never ever tasted it before. And then they pulled out of the market. Even Ovaltine seems to have pull out and we are only left with Milo for chocolate flavoured drink other than cocoa. Oh well, it's good that I like Milo.

Hugs! xo

  8. I want your Easter basket for sure. Candies are great but not so good for teeth and health overall. Yes to makeup..ha. At my daughter's school this year, they asked parents not to put candies inside the eggs but opted for other things like erasers, stickers, coins instead which i really liked. Happy Easter, Kim!

  15. Wow Kim, you did really well at filling your basket with non-candy sweet treats - although that bunny Pez dispenser would have been impossible to resist, I have a similar one form when I was little that I've held onto all these years because it's just so cute :) Happy Easter!

  24. Love all the goodies in your basket! You did good with avoiding the candy. Easter candies are one of my weaknesses. I just couldn't resist the cuteness paired with the pastel colors.

  27. Oh wow, you totally changed your blog look. I like the new look. It's fresh, clean and simple, and it's still so you.

Anyway, you've got really great treats there. I'm not sure what to post about Easter because we celebrate it differently. Not exactly with the colorful eggs.

I'd so be happy to join your giveaway next week, but I do hope it's not exclusive for US participants.
