Bath and Body Works 3-Wick Candles Fall 2017
Bath and Body Works has come out with an entire HONEY candle & body care collection. It's all about the honey...HONEY! I was really impressed with their "You're The Bees Knee" candle. The notes are rich vanilla, tonka bean and wildflower honey. It smelled really good. I found it to be very soothing and perfect for the colder months (hopefully we have colder weather this winter). There's also a Hey Honey candle which is Honey Pear! It's nice as well, with more of a fruity scent. The honey collection also includes all types of shower products, hand creams and hand soaps. WHAT'S NEW in the candle range? Let's first talk packaging! I love the new popular chalkboard design labels on many of the candles. On the lid it says "Eat Dessert First!" How cute! Bath and Body Works says a lot of these scents are NEW, but I recognized many of them like Caramel Pumpkin Swirl, Pumpkin Cupcake and Pumpkin Pecan Waffles from last year. I wish they would've brought back Pumpkin French Toast (it was awesome). Hot Cocoa Cream is new this year and if you love chocolate, then you have to get this candle. It's chocolate goodness! Very rich! I know not everyone is into sweet scents, so definitely check out their new Almond, Cinnamon, Bourbon Butterscotch, Eucalyptus, Bergamot, Lavender, Lemongrass and other scents. Please don't pay $24.50 for one candle! Bath and Body Works has revolving sales. It's just a matter of catching one! Sometimes candles are $11, $12.50, or Buy1, Get1 Free. Sign up to receive emails (they give even better discounts via emails).Bath and Body Works Fall 2017 Wallflower Plugs
If you're into Wallflower Plugs, three stood out for me! The Shimmering Wheat Bundle (so pretty in person), Hammered Pear and Heirloom Pumpkin Nightlight. There are some Halloween ones online, but I didn't see any in my store. Maybe I overlooked them. These can run upwards to $18.50. So again, do not pay that! LOL You can also get the refills as low as $3.50 when you get a good sale.Bath and Body Works Fall 2017 Body Care
These are what made me go into the store! The packaging is so adorable. Milk cartons. Fluffy marshmallows. Ripe red apples. GO INTO THE STORE! The packaging is cute, but the scents are light. Very light! The one that stood out for me (that had the best scent) was the Champagne Apple & Honey Scent. It smells like crisp fresh apples! Very clean! Very refreshing! The others were uhhh ok. The scents were just a little too light for my taste. So I'm glad I went in. The other day, they had these for $7 each (regularly $13.50 - $18.50). Be cautious of Buy 3, Get 3 Free! If you purchased 6 @ $7 = $42; If you purchased 3 @ $13.50 (low end) = $40.50 (you would get 3 free and you would beat the $7 deal); BUT if you purchase scrubs $16.50 or body butters $18.50, they're going to charge your for the HIGHEST product and give you the cheaper one's free. See what I mean? Be a savvy shopper! There's also a new Coco Shea Collection, but I forgot to sample it you guys :PBath and Body Works Room Sprays & Mists
I didn't see any new scents for Fall, but I love these because they are concentrated, sleek and neat. Two sprays makes a room smell so good. I've gotten so many compliments on these. My favorites for Fall are Pumpkin Pecan Waffles and Pumpkin Cupcake. Perfect for Halloween & Thanksgiving. Do not pay $7.50. Grab them when they're 2 for $12 or if you can get them cheaper. That fun Sugar Skull in the picture below is a Scentportable Holder. I didn't know this, but Bath and Body Works has a CAR FRAGRANCE line! This is just the holder, but they do have refills.Bath and Body Works Fall 2017 Hand Soaps
Bath and Body Works seems to be changing up their hand soap packaging (at least for Fall). It's a wider but sleeker bottle. All the new honey scents are nice (salted honey & vanilla, golden pear, sunkissed citrus & honey, golden honey blossom, honey lavender woods etc.). There were three pumpkin scents (sweet cinnamon pumpkin, marshmallow pumpkin latte, and white pumpkin peppercorn). THE BEST ONE if you want a true pumpkin & cinnamon scent is white pumpkin peppercorn. Awesome! They also had a nice sparkling cranberry cider and spiced apple bourbon hand soap ;) I subscribe to Bath & Body Works email and they said TODAY ONLY, handsoaps are going to only be $2.95. See a deal through email! They run regularly $6.50, $7.50 etc. I paid $5 each for mine :P See the fluctuation in prices!Bath and Body Works Cosmetic Bags
And Finally! I didn't see these on their website, but how cute are these cosmetic pouches!?!
So this is what I purchased at the store. But I want two more of everything here, plus pumpkin pecan waffles, vanilla pumpkin marshmallow (which you can only get ONLINE), & you're the bees knees. For some reason, I gravitate to their Fall line more than their Christmas collection!
We don't have Bath and Body Works in Germany, so the only chance I have is ordering online. I checked a few of the scents out when I was in Singapore and ended up buying one winter candle that has lasted me through two winters already.
ReplyDeleteI never burn candles when the kids are around, so they last me quite a long time.

I wish we had Bath and Body Works here, I would spend hours in a shop like this one, discovering new products and scents. I need to start preparing for fall too, candles are a must in our home!x

I wish we had this here - everything looks and sounds so good Kim! I like your advice on waiting for a sale too. Most things go on sale if you wait long enough, it's wise to wait until then to stock up! :)
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a good week so far :)

I've never been a big fan of Bath & Body Works. I know, I know, everyone usually gasps when I say that, but the truth is, I find the experience of shopping in their stores, and even browsing their collections online, totally overwhelming. There's just way too much to choose from! My brother's girlfriend loves the store, though, so I always wind up visiting around her birthday and Christmas. I'm glad you broke down the fall scents, Kim - it will make it easier for me to choose something for her! Thanks for an awesome review.

I'm definitely going to go with your hand soap recommendation- yum! I've never ever bought myself one of the seasonal candles but I'm thinking I might need to splurge this year!

I may have to visit them during my break at work. It's so easy to want to buy everything when you go in there. I love fall, it's my favorite season. Great post! http://www.mrsqbeauty.com
ReplyDeleteKim, I've definitely noticed more than a few Bath and Body Works stores closing in NYC and that's a big reason why I haven't visited one in quite some time. Thanks for bringing us up to date on what's new there. You've piqued my interest in the honey candle & body care collection and I'm pretty sure I need a Hot Cocoa Cream candle :D
ReplyDeleteI can smell everything now! I haven't been in a Bath & Body Works store in years but always loved their products. I stayed in a hotel last with that had their products. The lotion was "rain kissed leaves" so I am hoping it is available in their stores too and not just as hotel product! It is sad that all sorts of stores are closing. So many people only have retail experience which is going to really affect local economies. :(
ReplyDeleteI caught the $12.59 candle deal last weekend! My store didn't have a good stock and I was kind of underwhelmed. I went online and there were so many more candle scents! I was sad they weren't at my store! I only saw one honey candle and it smelled good! I had a cocoa one from Christmas so I skipped out on the new one. I loved all the new packaging though, and those makeup pouches were so cute! Thanks for sharing what you picked up, Kim! I love all the photos from your store!
ReplyDeleteIts amazing. When there was no B&Bworks here I would go to the US and stock up. Now we have a store here and I've been there once a year... and picked up maybe one or two things !
ReplyDeleteThe honey collection is quite appealing.
Fall is my fave time to hit up BBW! And I love me some products that are honey scented so that Bees Knees candle might just have to go home with me. My husbands fave is Pumpkin Cupcake so I will definitely have to grab him some things with that scent as well.
ReplyDeleteBetween you and Ashley's posts...I need to go to BBW and get candles! My local one better not be closing! And now we can only get Pumpkin Marshmallow online??? noooo lol
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great collection :) I love all the items :) Nice post friend! Kisses.

So happy to hear the girls working there were lovely and helpful, it makes all the difference when shopping! Also, SUPER exciting to see Autumn-themed goodies - soooo pretty...

I swear Kim, I could smell everything through the screen. 😂😂😂 Especially those wonderful candles. I can't believe the seasons are changing again. Time really does fly!
ReplyDeleteIs it just me or do their candles not last as long? Last year, I purchased 3 and I feel the went so quickly! I don't know, maybe I burn them too much? Lol! Anyway, these scents sound AMAZING! I'm very much intrigued by the honey collection; I LOVE honey!!! I'm also looking forward to possibly trying the chocolate one, too. It's so sad that technology, though making things easier for the consumer, is causing people to lose their jobs. That's makes me extremely sad. Even when you go to the bank these days, there's literally only one teller and one consultant. You don't even need to wait long lines anymore, which can be good, but just goes to show, not many people are coming out anymore. Anyway, thanks so much for sharing, beauty, you've really gave me some collections to look forward to!
