Get ready for a fruit-filled, sweet-treat week! Let's start with
Sara Happ! I think I review at least two of her lip scrubs a year. I recently purchased her Pink Grapefruit lip scrub ($22) and it is awesome. I'm not much of a grapefruit fan, but I love eating pink grapefruit in the mornings. This lip scrub smells just like pink grapefruit and tastes as yummy as well. Sara Happ's lip scrubs are always so authentic! And they always have just the right balance of exfoliation and moisturizing ingredients. I love how they exfoliate, moisturize and wash away cleanly.
If you go back to my past reviews, you may notice the jars (that contain her lip scrubs) have changed (they were plastic). The one's now look more like glass (feel like it as well) and are much sleeker. It's a very nice polished design! BUT...OH YES...THERE IS A BUT! You're getting less product :( Why Sara Why? Before we received 1oz of your yummy lip scrub. Now, only .5 oz (1/2 the product amount) :P BUT...YES, ANOTHER BUT! The price has gone down $2. If there's any consolation, you need very little of this lip scrub. It definitely gets the job done. She just recently came out with a Limited Edition lip scrub called Caramel Latte. I'm so tempted! LOL All of her lip scrubs are paraben-free, gluten-free, and not tested on animals. This lip scrub is formulated with grapeseed and jojoba oil. She also has introduced a potted lip balm (The Lip Slip Balm) and The Dream Slip, which is a replenishing lip treatment you use at night. I'll have to purchase and try them. I'll definitely keep you posted. She makes great lip products. I think my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE LIP SCRUB has to be the
SARA HAPP SPARKLING PEACH flavor. It is DELICIOUS! LOL

Sara Happ Pink Grapefruit Lip Scrub is Supersweet
It's a shame that the new packaging, albeit being more polished and more glass like, offers less product. This lip scrub does sound like a winner. Pink grapefruit scrub that looks adorable and tastes yummy...and does great job hydrating the lips..sounds like a winner.
ReplyDeleteOkay, so I'm going to have to try this. My lips are so incredibly sensitive, so anytime I have an allergic reaction, my lips get super chapped and dry. I've tried so many lip balms and scrubs and many of them don't work well. I love that this one is paraben free and it sounds like it truly smells amazing. I also love the sound of that caramel latte one, too. Are they sold at Sephora?

This sounds so delicious! It's a bummer she downside the product amount though.
ReplyDeleteI'm a big fan of Sara Happ lip scrubs. You nailed it when you said that they have just the right balance of exfoliation and moisturizing ingredients Kim! I bet this must smell delicious and I think I need to try this after I finish up my French Girl Organics lip polish.
ReplyDeleteI've heard amazing things about Sara Happ lip products in general, but wow all their lip scrub flavors sound amazing! 😍 I especially want to try that Caramel Latte one now that you mentioned it!

Ooh the packaging is so much more sleek now! I still have the one you sent me and it's a shame they cut the amount of product in half! It is quite delicious though and effective!
ReplyDeleteOoh this looks amazing! I need to try!

I actually love Frank Body's lip scrub but damn how gorgeous is the packaging! I would buy it just for this (though you mention it's grapefruit and I love grapefruit in all forms)

I really must try these SH lip scrubs, Kim! The Pink Grapefruit looks so yummy:D And digging the sound of the Caramel Latte...nomnomnom...hehe...And I guess it's ok that you get less product if the price is cheaper...yay for that packaging for sure though:)
ReplyDeleteIt's a shame that the packaging improvement means you get less product, even if the price has decreased. Lip scrubs are one of those things I just don't get much thought to, but every time you review a Sarah Happ lip scrub, I think I need to change that. I love all things grapefruit, so this one would be a great starting point for me.

Oh it looks lovely! I really like these photos Kim! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a shame that you get less product, but nice that they lowered the price too. I don't like when companies change things and increase the price. Everyone was quite worked up about that recently in Australia when they realised the biscuit (I think you call them cookies) companies had made the packaging smaller so you get less for the price, haha!
Hope you are having a nice start to your week! We are looking forward to the Easter long weekend here.

I'm not a fan of pre-made lip scrubs but damn this one looks so nice and sweet!
ReplyDeleteWhat a shame that you only get half the amount now, I rather pay the extra $2 and get 1.0oz. That said, at least this works well!

This sounds amazing, Kim! I know you love her lip scrubs. I would be tempted by the salted caramel scent too! And that’s a shame you only get half the product in the jar now! I think that’s a bummer, that the price was only decreased $2 as well!
