PR Sample: This week (and next), I'm covering Summer makeup that can transition to Fall. I received four full-size samples of Burt's Bees Liquid Lipsticks from PR, that I felt would fit great into this series. The colors they sent me are so pretty (how did they know what would look good on me LOL). They are Niagra Nude, Coral Cove, Peony Puddle and Rushing Rose. Burt's Bees states on their website these are 100% natural. They contain conditioning apricot, babassu oil, shea butter and essential fatty acids to maintain soft lips. They provide all-day moisture and comfort on the lips. They are formulated without parabens, phthalates, petrolatum or SLS. These are offered in 12 naturally flattering shades that provide full coverage in a lightweight texture leaving your lips incredibly lush and healthy looking in a glossy finish. Now let me share my opinion after trying these! These liquid lipsticks lay so beautifully on the lips! I'm not even wearing a lip primer in my pictures below! These liquid lipsticks have a mousse-y feel & texture. They're not liquidity or runny. So the formula really adheres to your lips. I love their thicker, but lightweight texture. The pigmentation is extraordinary. One or two swipes and you're done. They feel really good on the lips. They're creamy and not sticky. They have high shine, but its a natural look. These liquid lipsticks will transfer, but will not leave your lips colorless. You will still have color on your lips. I love all of these colors. Some will work great for Spring & Summer. Others are superb for Fall. Remember Burt's Bees offers these in 12 shades!!! So there are more beautiful colors to choose from :) I also adore the packaging for these. They sport a cute honeycomb-transparent casing. Brown square & rectangle cap. They remind me of NARS packaging, but these don't stain or get dirty. They contain just the right amount (.21 oz) of product. Don't you ever get tired of not using all of your liquid lipsticks? You can finish these in one season! And with a $10 price tag, they won't break your bank account. I couldn't pick up a scent. There is no taste. I love these and feel you will too :) If you haven't tried Burt's Bees makeup, you really should. Every time they send me makeup, I become more & more impressed. I love their lip crayons, lip treatment, lip balms, & peppermint foot lotion.
