As we head into the weekend, I would like to review some Fall Makeup in my collection that I never reviewed. Today, Kat Von D's Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Lolita $20 (Sephora, JCPenney). I purchased this lipstick when this color was the craze, but never tried it on. Well I LOVE IT! It's perfect for Fall. Lolita is described as a chestnut rose. It's the perfect blend of brown, red, mauve & dark pink. The formula is fab. It goes on as a liquid lipstick and dries down to a matte. But it doesn't feel or look dry. It adheres to the lips without caking, flaking or falling apart. I've got to check out some more of Kat Von D's Everlasting Liquid Lipstick shades, because I am loving this one. My only gripe is that the wand is so long. It makes applying a little more challenging. Another thing I want to mention is when I swatched my hand, I rubbed & rubbed it. No transfer or smudging. So that was another thing I liked. Kat Von D made a Lolita eye shadow. I thought it was a blush, but when I looked on her website, it was eye shadow. So this girl, is going to buy the eye shadow and see if I can use it as a blush. LOL Ummm Kat, you need to make this a blush girl.
