I usually find these cool places by watching The Travel Channel. One weekend they showcased Sandy Lane Luxury Resort. I fell in love. The Perfect Escape. I also like to read the opinions and look at the candid pictures on Trip Advisor and Conde Nast Traveler. Sandy Lane was a Traveler's Choice 2012 Winner.
Sandy Lane is located in St. James, Barbados, and overlooks the Caribbean Sea. Plane fare is reasonable enough, however it's the prices of the rooms, suites, penthouse, and villa that will cost you. HaHaHa What I like about Sandy Lane is that it's not huge. They have 112 rooms and suites on the property. They even have a private villa. It seems like the perfect vacation spot to relax, receive numerous spa treatments, sip on exotic drinks, eat delicious food and focus on YOU. The environment is very peaceful and serene. They also have a world class golf course, tennis and water sports facilities and great activities for your family. So this is definitely on my list. I included some pics, but you have to visit their website to get the full effect. It's simply exquisite. Enjoy! I'll be looking up other Caribbean Resorts to feature. :)

I've never been to Barbados before, to be honest I'm not a huge fan of hot weather as I'm pale and burn easily so I tend to cover up but that means I end up boiling! I end up holidaying in cooler places in northern Europe haha! Barbados looks absolutely stunning though, I love the view of the sea. And those apartments look absolutely gorgeous! xo

Now THAT'S a vacation. One of my best girl friend's is from Barbados. She's always asking me to come along, but her home doesn't look nearly as fancy as that! But either way, the beaches there look sooooo nice :)
