C is for...Chocolate, Cards and Cupcakes!

I can't believe it's February 1st already (turning my calendar). Amazing! Ok, today's topic: My Sweet Treats! Instead of buying sweet treats for myself this past weekend, I received some! So let me show you two neat gifts I received in the mail.

Charming Valentine Cards:

A couple of weeks ago, I featured Sandy from Ooh La Frou Frou blog and hosted a giveaway of her fabulous  Summer City Girl's Notecards.

Sandy is so sweet! She sent me a lovely thank you note and her gorgeous NEW 'Shoo-In' Valentine card.

Her cards are so beautiful you guys! No detail is left undone. They are truly exquisite! I tried capturing the details in my pics. Her cards have dimension, sparkle and charm.

Thanks Sandy!!! I Love It! I'm keeping it for myself. It's so pretty! :)

I want you guys to know, Sandy has added two NEW Valentine Cards to her collection: Valentine Shoo-In and Charming Valentine (it's a charm bracelet!).

So definitely take a look at her beautiful card collection and check out her blog (her post this week is exquisite! Love Kate Spade? You should definitely check it out).

Chocolate Truffles: A really good friend of mine, Leah (she doesn't blog), sent me a box of Godiva 19pc Gold Ballotin chocolates for Christmas. I thanked her for them and would eat a piece of chocolate every couple of days. I wanted them to last awhile. Because hell, Godiva is expensive! LOL So I was determined to savor each and every one and make it last. Well she tells me, "Kim it's the gift that keeps on giving!". I asked her, "What? I don't understand". She said, "You will be receiving something from Godiva for the next 6 months". WHOA!!! I gobbled up the 1st box of chocolates after she told me that. HaHaHa Guess what you guys? The 2nd shipment just came! This month it's Godiva's Ultimate Dessert TRUFFLES! Even Godiva's dry ice packaging has their seal on it. LOL I've had 3 so far. SO GOOD! :) Thanks Leah!

These are the Godiva Ultimate Dessert Truffle flavors! :)

Okay! So there are NO cupcakes (blog title). Sue me for false blog advertisement HaHaHa :)

But there IS Red Velvet Wine from Cupcake Vineyards (thanks Becks from Oomph)! I blogged about them last week.

Their Red Velvet wine tastes GREAT with these Godiva dessert truffles (I still love their Moscato D'Asti more)!

I also threw in a couple of strawberries. Gotta have fruit right? :)

I don't know how February will end up, but it's starting off great (turning my vintage calendar...I love vintage ads)! :D hck hck

Have a great day everybody! :)
