On February 14th, I won a giveaway sponsored by Courtney Munger of MaddyNBella. It was hosted by the lovely Ly of Eternal Optimist (if you like giveaways and a mix of great topics subscribe to her blog). It was a $25 shop credit to Courtney's Etsy Shop. Courtney has so many cute things in her shop, but one necklace in particular caught my eye. It was the 'Letter Charm Necklace'.I picked this necklace, because I wanted a piece of jewelry that truly meant something to me. I'm really close to my mom (my dad passed in 2007) and this necklace is a reminder of their love for me.
I chose 3 charms for my necklace. The number 3 means a lot to me (Holy Trinity and lucky number). The cross is a reminder that even though my dad has passed, he is with God and still loves me very much. The other 2 charms are my first initial and my mom's. I'm very close to my mom and love her very much. When you're an only child, I believe you have an even stronger bond with your parents. So when I touch the 3 charms on my necklace, I know both are with me. Does that make sense? Thank You Courtney!
