Let me get to the point! Have you guys seen the Secret Garden video for Dior? It is G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S! It was filmed in Versailles by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin and features models Daria Strokous, Melissa Stasiuk and Xiao Wen Ju. They must've had a blast making this. They are running through the halls in their underwear, wearing Fall 2012 haute couture Dior fashion, applying expensive lipstick, and men peep out from behind statues (ok one man! i think they should've had a couple of hotties! just sayin'). Now THAT is the life! Music is by Depeche Mode. Does anybody remember them? If so, I won't feel so bad. HaHa The song is a classic! It's entitled, "Enjoy the Silence". Oh just see and hear for yourself. Here are a few pics, but the video is a must see. EXQUISITE and ENJOY!!! I wonder if the pink clouds at the end means this is a dream. Symbolism you think!?! Am in love with this video..I will get to Versailles one day soon, I will!! I've been obsessed with this place for so long, I must get there, haha! ReplyDeleteWow! I like those bags they're carrying. Watching the video reminded me of the times when I was at Versailles. It is a beautiful and breath taking sight. Just standing there and looking out at the garden from the room full of mirror, it makes me think of the kings, queens and princesses that previously lived in this mansion. They lived such a rich life and I wonder how they felt back then. Makes me wonder.. =)

ReplyDeleteI went to Versailles last December with hubby during our honeymoon. The palace is so beautiful but I'm bumped about the garden. Everything is covered up during winter and so we did not get to witness the beauty of it.
