Ms. Vintage Chic

Let me tell you about my aunt! She's very sassy! Several years ago, she decided to minimize by selling her gorgeous home and purchase a condominium. She liked the layout of the condominium, but almost didn't purchase it because of the various types of wallpaper throughout.

She got rid of a lot of things during the move and I  find it amazing how she incorporated colors, patterns, and vintage pieces from her old place into her new place. I would've NEVER thought it would ALL go together! hahaha My home is beige, black, brown and simple! lol

With every corner you turn in her condo, there's something there! She's traveled extensively in and out of the country, was a school teacher and always hosted the best parties. She loves framed pictures, statues, the Cincinnati Bengals, little doodads, prints and color. She even subscribes to Harper's Bazaar and Town & Country Magazine! So below are some pics of her place (where I stayed for the storm). I thought you would like to see and hope you enjoy!

In my next blog post, I'll show you some of the cool and nostaligic places to eat in Cincinnati! Are you hungry?

  1. This is so cool! Someday after my kids are grown and moved away, I would love to decorate like this. Not so much now, they would destroy everything, lol! I love the Bengals chair. Heather

I usually associate brocade with winter too but I love the idea of it for spring/summer fashion.

What an amazing collection of things your aunt has! I think that kind of stuff is so cool. It seems like our generation has moved away from treasuring keepsakes like the previous one did. I love looking at old treasures!
