A Gobble-icious Thanksgiving

I had a very nice and relaxing Thanksgiving. Started my morning baking blueberry muffins and watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. While waiting for the turkey to bake, my family and I watched football and played Snackopoly. Snackopoly? HaHa Yes! The other day when I found the Hostess stickers (I received them you guys!), I also found a vintage Little Debbie Snackopoly (like Monopoly) game. It was only made and distributed to employees that worked at Little Debbie and not the public. I bought this one cheap to re-sell in my Etsy shop, but it's so cute I may keep it for myself. HaHaHa

For Thanksgiving I had turkey, cornbread dressing, peas, sweet potato casserole w/marshmallows, and rolls. For dessert, I picked up a sweet potato pie from Tee Eva's. It is the best sweet potato pie. Tee Eva's ships out of state if interested. They have been featured in Elle, Williams Sonoma and countless other magazines & tv shows. Pre-order your pie if you plan to pick one up from the shop and have cash on hand to pay for it. I'm a full, thankful and happy girl right now. How was your dinner?

  7. I'm so glad to hear that you had a happy Thanksgiving, Kim - and I have to admit, I'm drooling a little looking at all the photos of your delicious meal! Canadian Thanksgiving came and went about a month ago, but Ilike to celebrate any time there is a holiday going on, so my husband and I went out to dinner last night. We didn't have a very traditional meal, though, since we chose a Thai restaurant :) I wish we could have finished the evening playing Snackopoly, I mean seriously, how cute is that!
