Good Morning My Friends! Let me show you where I had breakfast this weekend. The place is called Morning Call. It's a coffee & beignet shop nestled in
New Orleans City Park. City Park is HUGE and is home to many marvelous treasures. I plan on showcasing those treasures on the blog throughout the year. We finally had a break from the rain this weekend, so I thought I would get out and take in some fresh air. I like cozy restaurants where you can sit outside and enjoy the weather. It's relaxing and gives me a chance to clear my mind. Have you eaten
beignets before? They're very light doughnuts, that are cooked to order (so they're warm when they're served). They taste great with a cup of
cafe au lait or milk, and you sprinkle as much powdered sugar on them as you please. The sugar is very light and scatters everywhere. My suggestion before eating them is to wear a white top to disguise any sugar misfortunes. HaHaHa Have A Great Day!

Morning Call in City Park is SWEET!
Here Are A Few Suggestions:
1. Arrive early! It fills up fast and so does the available parking space.
2. Bring cash! They do not accept credit or debit cards.They do however have an ATM.
3. Bring a camera! Beautiful flowers, trees and buildings are nearby. You'll want to take pics.

One of my lifelong food dreams is to eat fresh beignets in New Orleans - and yours look exactly like the ones I've always dreamed of :) I'm loving the white top you wore to breakfast, too - not only is it pretty and sparkly, but it definitely would hide any sugar accidents ;)

Look at this -I love the sprinkles of Sugar and your lovely self:) I haven't tasted Beignets before - but I am a fan of a good old doughnut - trick is to eat one without 'licking the sugar of you lips at all whilst eating* Ever tried - not that easy ha ha:)
