Well, let me tell you! This is not a pink for the modest at heart. It's a pink that packs a punch! Collide is a NEON pink WITH CLASS! I really like it! The application of it was very easy. Long brush, but it was very easy to control. I used 2 coats to achieve the look below. I think this is the fastest drying nail lacquer I've ever used. The vibrant color is amazing! The only thing I didn't like was it's distinctive nail lacquer scent. Plus I didn't read about it being Environmentally friendly or at least 3 Free.
This nail lacquer costs $14 at Sephora and £13.50 ($17.26 USD) on Illamasqua's website. It was shocking to hear from my International readers (in my last nail polish post) how much you guys pay for nail polish! I don't think I would ever do mine. Crazy wild!

ReplyDeleteI love this!! It does have a punch to it and it looks lovely on you. The brush does a lil long but perfect for control which is always a plus.
Great review. Love how the bunny head is missing. Lol.
Ooo never tried Illamasqua before! This looks great Kim. Pretty color too! :)

I've been hearing so much about Illamasqua lately, it's on my list of things to investigate when I finally make my trip to the UK this spring. I have to say, I wasn't totally sold on Collide in the bottle, but on your nails the colour is fabulous - although not for the faint of heart ;) Thanks for another great review, Kim - and for making me hungry looking at all of these Easter treats, ha ha :)
ReplyDeletexox,
Cee
I lurve it - so fab - the colour is very Spring.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter dearest Ki, hope you have a lovely break,
Axxx
Such a gorgeous colour! It does remind me of the jelly beans I ate when I was a kid. I would have eaten the bunny too ;) Happy Easter lovely...I hope you have a marvellous time!! Enjoy the break. Many blessings and love to you & family!! I think I will post tomorrow, but if I don't enjoy!! xxxx
ReplyDeleteWoohoo! That's PINK! I prefer my varnish a little more coral, but this is still pretty cool! xo
ReplyDeleteThat color is gorgeous. Definitely looks better on than it does in the bottle.
ReplyDeleteI would definitely wear this pink nail polish. The brighter the better in my opinion! Heather
ReplyDeleteI never heard of the brand before. I don't think I'd pay 14 bucks for polish but the color is gorgeous!

ReplyDeleteThat shade is cool, I would use it myself! Not ready for the speckled nails either! Oh if I had a bag of jelly beans here right now I would stuff myself. Those days! Loveeee
ReplyDeleteWe used to have Ilamsqua in Ireland but they pulled out a few years ago and I'm still in mourning!
ReplyDeleteThat is one gorgeously vibrant shade of pink and it looks beautiful with your skin tone Kim! I've seen this brand at Sephora and the entire line definitely looks bold.

Nice pictures KIm.
ReplyDeleteI always like learning about new brands, this one has got me thinking how do i pronounce it ?
The color lookks amazing .
That color is awesome! So pretty for spring/summer.
ReplyDeleteIt's a really pretty color. I've seen the brand at Sephora, but it takes a lot for me to spend $13 on a bottle of polish. I love Essie and Lime Crime which are both well below that price point.
ReplyDeleteAnd as you know I LOVE speckled nails as you can tell by my last nail post haha :)
And your pictures are making me hungry once again...
xo
That fabulous nail polish! ;D

ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I've been getting into coral-y pinks quite a bit lately and this is just plain pretty. Nailpolish really is insanely expensive! I get most of mine for cheaper on ebay when I can :)

Well, that is definitely a very bold and bright pink! And I love the jellybean shots. Perfect for Easter (and I hope yours is amazing, lovely!)
ReplyDeleteHehe, you are right--I am lucky to have met so many amazing people, such as yourself. :) It's amazing how people can come together so nicely through blogs. <3
I am craving jelly beans now! Hm, the pink doesn't look as bright as I thought it would actually. Still a really vibrant colour though!
ReplyDeleteBlog | Facebook
I am craving for those jelly beans. Yummy! Your nail polish is a pretty pink. That cosmetics company is a brand to watch out for.
ReplyDeleteSuch a bright neon pink, I like it! :) Shame it isn't big 3 free, if is they should publicise it more. I usually get around things like that where I'm unsure by using a good base coat that I know is safe from the nasties, and hope that helps. Probably has no scientific basis, but makes me feel better, haha.

Your life just seems so delicious. Also I think "neon with class" pretty much covers it - I just painted my nails the same color!
