Sweet-Bittersweet-Not Sweet
OPI's Euro Centrale Collection is Sweet!
Suzi's Hungary Again! (and so am I, but let me finish this post haha)
It's a pretty shade of pink, that's even prettier in person. Now, the application of the polish surprised me. I needed 3 (uno, dos, tres!) coats to achieve the opaque look below. However, once applied it proved very durable and the polish dried quickly after each application. If you would like a second opinion, look at the review my fellow blog buddy Andrea of Little Miss Andrea did on Suzi's Hungary Again. Also, I have SO many blues, that I didn't buy any from this collection, but Andrea also reviewed and swatched Can't Find My Czechbook. Czech it out! :P
My Paprika is Hotter Than Yours
Do you need a little spice in your life? Do you wanna feel hot, Hot, HOT? Well this is one orange-y shade of red (coral) you should add to your nail lacquer collection. After you apply it, you'll want to do the salsa or eat some! hahaha It's truly a beautiful color. I applied 2 coats to achieve the look below. I think I'm going to order A Woman's Prague-ative because it's in the same color family and exhibits the same punch.
Vant To Bite My Neck?
Welcome to the DARK side! HaHaHa I've tried lavender...I've tried lilac...But I've never purchased a really deep purple nail lacquer before. I would describe it as a real life fruit colored plum on the verge of black. When I saw this shade I immediately fell in love with it. It's definitely glossy and if you want to razz-a-ma-tazz it, purchase Polka as an overlay. I'm definitely wearing this shade during the winter months. If you're a fan of deep purples or near black shades, then this nail lacquer is for you.
What did I do with all the PEEPS when I finished this blog post?
I added graham crackers & chocolate and made some colorful S'MORES! :)
I love love that pink shade!! And wow you are really making me want some Easter candy right about now. PEEP SMORES!! (i just died and went to heaven..haha).

Is it really Monday already? Weekends go by too fast.

"My Paprika is hotter than yours" is definitely the kind of colour I'd wear - great red! I haven't used OPI in a long time, maybe it's time I investigated their colour range again :-) Hope you've had a good weekend xo
ReplyDeleteLove the Hand Off shade very much and adore OPI in general, for both quality, colours and ingredients they use.
ReplyDeletex
you're such an inspiration kim! thanks for the great photos and review :) i think opi is really good :) i love using opi for my nail polish... wanna try my paprika is hotter than yours :) hehe
ReplyDeleteOnly $9 each?! Kim they are $20 here! We are so ripped off for polish :(
ReplyDeleteI like that vant to bite my neck shade very much, how many coats are you wearing in that shot? Does it need as many as the pink one? :( I seem to have either really bright or really dark polish colours - no in-betweens! haha!
Away From The Blue
This post could not have come at a better/worse time, Kim! I have such a bee in my bonnet about nailpolish lately... we really get the short end of the stick when it comes to brands and colours here in Europe. I'm craving new spring shades, particularly some fun glitters like Polka.com, but polishes are either crazy expensive - think $17 for old bottles of Essie that are separating - or so inexpensive that, well, you get what you pay for. I guess I'm just going to to live vicariously through your gorgeous nails (and your marshmallow peeps, for that matter!)

You are the best Kim dear!!! I'm happy to see Suzi's Hungary Again on you because I've been claiming it as my favourite just on paper. You have very beautiful hands, so it's hard to say how all these lovely shades would look on my grannylike hands (I need a miracle solution LOL). The Easter-themed dessert at the end of the post is so YOU. Tons of love and sweet treats. By the way... Do you have Lindt chocolate in the States? Do you prefer black or milk chocolate? xoxoxo
ReplyDeleteI definitely have to pick up some sweet treats after reading this post - for my nails AND for my tummy!
ReplyDeleteThe names are hysterical! And now I'm craving peeps more than ever.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite color is pink, so I'm loving those pink shades. I've actually never used OPI nail polish, I think I may start with some of these colors from this collection.

Each of these shades is so unique and dynamic, the pink is sweet and girly, the red is powerful and the purple is really mysterious. Adore!

Kim, I'm totally ogling your pretty nail colors and squealing over the cute bunny peeps. I can't eat bunny shaped or Snoopy shaped things because I can't bear to bite their heads. I'm such a weirdo :p

Hi Kim, it's Easter soon so I'm into the lighter colors. I love this collection. I just bought a whole bunch of polishes from Crabtree & Evelyn this weekend too. Aww...that's so sad that you guys don't have a Forever 21 store, well at least you can get it online. Have a great weekend.
