I didn't find many official pictures from the 2013 event, but I found an amazing kawaii blog called modeS Blog that attended the event and took some great photos. I didn't want to post her personal photos, so if you want to view more from the 2013 event, please visit her blog (part 1 and part 2).
All I can say is I'm in chocolate heaven! A bathtub filled with whip cream, a chocolate bed with cookie pillows and a pink cake quilted sofa. YES, PLEASE! This is what dreams are made of (well at least mine! hahaha). Total visual eye candy! I swear I would be at this mall all day (and I don't even like malls) just to see this exhibition. And it's an annual event! So it changes every year! Amaze-balls! >.<

Now, the pictures below are what I found the other night and what started this obsession! These are from the 2012 Harbour City Chocolate Trail. It is off the charts! Don't these pictures look like something from the movie The Matrix? My heart started to palpitate with each and every picture. Sweets suspended in air? Yes, please! HaHaHa Throw me a macaron! From what I could decipher, these ads were created by a group called NAM for the 2012 Harbour City Chocolate Trail. If you think the ads are gorgeous, just look at the shopping mall set up. Over sized fondue fountains, cupcakes on chocolate gushing pedestals, chocolate bars dripping in chocolate and a super-sized macaron tree!?! This is a fundraiser like no other! Goodness-gracious-GOD-almighty! Asians know how to throw a party! I LOVE IT! Between Britain and Asia, you guys get me each and every time. The creativity is amazing.

Amazeballs is right. Asians are crazy in a good way. I love the campaign shots and really quite pleased that they've not removed the fishing lines.. somehow adds some 'realness' to the whole ideal.

ReplyDeleteWow Kim this is like a total chocolate paradise! I want to hug that butler bear and maybe 'bearnap" him too lol ;p
ReplyDeleteI'm hanging in there. It's true that unless you've had vertigo you really don't know how it feels. The worst is when you lay down and actually feel dizzier and i'm thankful that hasn't happened this time around. I just skim through my feeds quickly on my iPad for now and I find the dictation feature to be helpful instead of typing so I don't have to look at anything for long. Thanks for all your support Kim!

Hi Kim, I also like how the cut-outs look on others, but would never be brave enough to wear it myself. Sleeves are like cut-outs right? Thats the closest I'll get, lol. Happy Friday Doll!
ReplyDeleteHey Kim, these are awesome photos! I LOVE CHOCOLATES! I love Hong Kong too. If you haven't been there, I urge you to go, it's awesome. FYI, those two models look good but horrible singers. Lol. Btw, my feature is out, hopefully, you have time to check it out. I really want to know your thoughts. Happy Thursday!
