When I got to the park to take pics, there was a really nice breeze. It felt good. It felt so good, I started salsa dancing in my new dress. HaHaHa Before I knew it, I had caught the attention of two park rangers and the grass cutting guy. HaHaHa My camera caught my embarrassment (below) :P However, they were very nice and assured me I looked pretty.
Do you like Latin music?
I like Latin and Tejano (Tex Mex).
Chayanne, Marc Anthony, Elvis Crespo, Dark Latin Groove, Shakira and Selena Quintanilla. They all create fun, happy, dance music! It's so much fun.
After that, my little photo shoot got cut short. The cool breezes suddenly stopped and then the sun started beaming down on me. HaHaHa I think we're gonna have a really hot summer. I popped a squat on the grass for a few minutes before leaving. At that point, I went from singing Latin songs to singing Here Comes The (Hot Ass) Sun by The Beatles. HaHaHa We're suppose to get a deluge of rain here this weekend! They're talking some minor street flooding. Booooooo! HaHaHa So I'm not sure if I'll see The Great Gatsby :( I'm definitely going to try! Maybe Sunday if it clears up! Fingers crossed. I want to see Leo-Oh-Oh-Oh! HaHaHa Have A Great Weekend Everybody! Happy Mother's Day! Happy Bank Holiday! Be Sweet! Do Something Sweet!

What a lovely dress, Kim! EShakti has some truly wonderful pieces and I love that they do custom-sizing, it really helps if you're petite like me, or tall like you are! These shades of green look lovely on you, and as for dancing in the park, I say just embrace it - you only live once, which means you only have so many chances to let loose and just be silly :)

It's a gorgeous dress. Love the colour and fabric design. You look radiant in it, I can see why you caught the attention of the guys near by ;) I hope you have a gorgeous weekend doll & the sun shines for you. It's been up and down here with rain, just hope it stays away for the weekend. Have fun doll!! xx
ReplyDeleteThat's the perfect name for your dress - a dainty print and you chose well putting the green cardi with it. Impressive that they do custom sizing. I love latin music - it inspires me to work harder at my Zumba class too! Have a lovely, hopefully dry and sunny weekend, Kim.

ReplyDeleteYou funny, funny girl, you ... I'm always guaranteed a chuckle when I drop by to see you, Kim ;) The dress looks adorable and I'm sure the park ranger was charmed! I'm reading about it being hot there and it was wonderful here all last week (in the mid-70's) but it is cold and rainy this weekend ... but back to 85 by Wednesday, yay! I know that doesn't even probably sound hot to you there in Nola, but it does to me ;) .. how hot do your summers get there? I've only been once and it was in March. Have a wonderful wonderful new week, sweetie-pie! xox ~S
