Harper's Bazaar China: Hot N' Cold

I was kinda liking this photo shoot at first. It showcased gorgeous Burberry Prorsum metallic coats, Stella McCartney, Dolce Gabbana & Louis Vuitton dresses, melted ice cream cones, towering lollipops, and delectable sundaes. You know! All the stuff I LOVE! Then my little sugar-filled fantasy bubble popped! What destroyed it? A CLOWN!!! I know their are nice clowns out there, but for the most part I hate frickin' clowns! Omg'd, I blame it on Stephen King's movie IT. I can't stand them! This one looks like a short, pervert clown! Ugggh! Yuck! Did you spot him? They couldn't have picked a better title for this! The fashion is HOT, but that damn clown left me COLD. HaHaHa  They should've put a really nice, tall & handsome, ice cream truck driver in this. You know the one's with the little bow tie and fake smile! That would've been so much nicer HaHaHa. Do clowns give you the creepers or is it just me?

    Oh geez, that clown is CREEPY! And definitely perverted...haha, that's just awkward.

    This is such a gorgeous editorial... until that clown shows up! I've never really been anti-clown, per se, but they definitely don't qualify as high fashion and that model just looks so emasculated with his blue hair and lack of clothing, it's really distracting :S

    It's certainly a fun shoot and I love those Louis Vuitton dreses. Usually I don't mind circus clowns too much but I have to agree with you - I really don't like this one!

    Don't like the clown either... He makes me feel uncomfortable. I am probably under the "It" influence, too.
    I think it would be much better not to have any kind of guy in it at all. :) Why did they think it's nice to have one crawling around the ice-cream van on the first photo? Did he forget to put on his clothes in the morning or something? Or got stuck? Odd, very odd.
    Love the feel of this ed, though. Very happy and summery. :)

    haha I agree with you Kim - nice editorial but that clown is just weird....in the photo where he is "driving" the van he looks evil! Very different to a normal clown.

    omgsh hahaha your so funny I agree with you it creeps me out too..whoever is the creative director of this went beyond in his imagination and it creeps people instead plus that guy model is too short for those model and too much muscle..great post kim and great magazine spread too cept the clown

    You know what? I didn't even see the clown. Is that cool or odd? I went back to seeeeee the pics more and then I found him. I did notice a guy holding a selling box around his neck hiding his speedo barely. Ya, he is more like a pedophiliac weirdo than a clown. Yuck is right!!!!!!!!

    I totally agree with you about clowns Kim! I can't stand them either and this one looks like a total creeper. Maybe he wouldn't be so bad if he was wearing some clothes and a bag over his head lol. Other than clown, the concept of this editorial is really fun!

    I miss you too girl and I hope to back soon. AT is the cutest! I think you were referring to Kitty Zhang Yuqi in the green dress. Her Ulyanna Sergeenko gown was truly fabulous!

    That clown sure is creepy Kim. You are right about that. He unfortunatly sticks out like a sore thumb in the shoots. Sometimes i have a hard time understanding high fashion. Too complicated, i better go back to grow my veggies, bake pies and ride a horse...ha.

    I have to agree Kim, I do not like clowns at all and this one looks creep-tastic. Ever since I saw Killer Clowns from Outer Space...yep, just don't like clowns. Eek... I do love the pictures though and I love the idea of an ice cream guy totes better!
