AJ Sweet Soap by Denise Mancuso: Etsy Product Review

Do you guys remember when fellow blogger Corinne of Cat Eyes & Thigh Highs sent me these cute cupcake soaps for my birthday in February? You can see the post and their original packaging HERE. Well I had a chance to use all four and review them!

The soaps are vegan. How fabulous is that!?! They come in a cute bakery box and each has a cupcake liner. The soaps have a really nice weight to them and the details are amazing! Both the hostess cupcake and chocolate iced cupcake have a subtle chocolate scent.The white iced cupcake has a light lemon scent. The lavender iced cupcake has a cream scent. All scents are very subtle. They lather up superbly and left my skin super soft. Another thing that impressed me was they didn't break up or fall apart. If used once a day, each will last at least 7 days. So as you can see, they don't melt away. You can purchase what I received as a gift HERE.

Want to know what else is awesome? The owner of AJ Sweet Soap is a woman! Her name is Denise Mancuso. She lives in New York and is married with two children. She has a full time job and does this as a hobby. How cool is that!?! I'm really impressed with her soaps! It's been 5 months since I've received them, they still have a wonderful scent and they are very moisturizing. I've purchased soaps that looked like this before and they usually dry out if you don't use them right away. So two thumbs up Denise! When I looked at her shop, she has soaps shaped as popsicles, ice cream cones, "oreo" cookies, macarons...pretty much any food item you can think of! She even has waffles and sunny side up eggs. HaHa This is not a sponsored post. I was just really impressed with her vegan soaps and wanted to share. You could totally wrap these up individually and give them out as party favors, use them as hand soaps, put them in your guest bathroom or keep them for yourself.  Take a look at some of her other items!

    Kim - I saw your instagram snapshot of the mini donut soaps and had to rush to your blog immediately to see what it was all about. These soaps looks good enough to eat! The fact that they're vegan and don't fall apart are both huge bonuses. I'm thinking I might want to dress up my bathroom with a few cute macarons. Thanks for sharing this :)

    As soon as I saw the first pictures, I honestly thought this was a cupcake post. Everything here is so realistic and really far too pretty to use! They would look cute in a bathroom as
    decoration and what a great idea for an unusual gift.
