Vine: A Fun Way To Showcase Practically Everything

Well my sweet peeps, there's another popular Social Media app to sign up for! Has everyone heard of Vine? Twitter acquired Vine October 2012. Just as Twitter lets you get your point across using 140 characters or less in WORDS; Vine lets you put together a series of snippets to create a short VIDEO with a maximum of 6 seconds or less. There's an app for iphone and android (released June 3, 2013)

Not everyone is on the Vine bandwagon yet. I just signed up for it. It's a nice medium that uses video to get your point across. It seems no one is READING anymore! Everything is pictures! Oh well. I haven't posted any videos, but I will soon.  I'm starting to see some bloggers and popular stores with Vine accounts, so that's why I wrote this post. I encourage you to sign up soon and at least secure your blog name, even if you're not sure you will use it (the name you want may be taken at a later date). I know! Social Media overload. HaHaHa

    I've been hearing a lot about Vine but so far I'm not on the bandwagon... there's something about making videos that always seems to technical to me and I just don't feel like I have the skillset. But seeing that Laduree video come together so seamlessly does have me tempted, I just may have to try it - plus I want to watch everyone else's videos :)

    It's so overwhelming with all the social media out there. I just set up my Instagram account, lol! Kayla has been using a similar social media called SnapChat and it has pictures. Maybe I will give this a try (after I figure out Instagram)! Heather

    I don't have an iPhone so I can only use Vine on my iPad and, of course, I never remember to. But I do like this app.

    I signed up for Vine a while back and uploaded maybe 2 videos. I just can't get into it. Plus, there are just too many things to keep track up! :)

    I've been on Vine for a little bit now but haven't gotten totally into it. Not as many posts go there but the looping of the video can get me dizzy at times haha. =) Still a fun social media tool though!

    So this was really intriguing.. I typed Vine.com into google and it brought me to a website featuring DIAPERS. hehe.
    Will definitely think about doing this! I'll have to work up the courage of posting videos, but I'm really excited to see your first video!!

    I had never heard of Vine but it seems like a really interesting option for arty people. However, I already feel quite overloaded by social media. Just the thought of signing up to a new service makes me tired hehehe
