BluePrintJuice: Bottled Juice To Go

I'm not new to juicing! I purchased a Breville juicer four years ago (click HERE) and started juicing a variety of fruits & veggies such as kale, spinach, carrots, celery, cucumber, parsley, apple, and tomatoes. Juicing made me feel good! A PR representative contacted me recently, and stated the makers of BluePrintCleanse also make JUICES! She mentioned that starting Aug. 1st, BluePrintJuice would be available for purchase at my local Whole Foods Market and would I like to try them. I was very interested in trying them! I've always been curious to know how bottled juices compared taste wise to my juicing system at home. Let's take a peek inside my fridge!

BluePrintJuices help the body detoxify and purify from the inside out.
BluePrint is 100% USDA certified organic, raw, vegan, gluten free, and hydraulically (cold) pressed
fresh fruit and vegetable juices.

So how do they taste? How do they rate? Click on pics below to make bigger!
Sweet-Bittersweet-NotSweet

Kale, Apple, Ginger, Romaine, Spinach, Cucumber, Celery, Parsley, Lemon
SUPERsweet
BluePrint Says: With 6lbs of leafy produce in one little bottle, you're looking at a highly intelligent way to get your greens. Packed with antioxidants, fiber, beta-carotene, calcium and Vitamin C.

Kim Says: This green juice puts mine to shame. HaHaHa It's powerful and awesomely delicious! You can REALLY taste the kale, spinach, apple, parsley and celery. This is a lot stronger than what I juice at home. It goes down easy. I didn't have to struggle to drink this.

How I Felt: I felt SUPER good after drinking this. I felt energized! I did so much housework after drinking this. HaHaHa That's how good I felt!

Pineapple, Apple, Mint
SUPERsweet
BluePrint Says: Pineapple is an excellent source of the antioxidant Vitamin C (220% Daily Value in this bottle!). Packed with Vitamin C, folate, copper, manganese, B vitamins and the enzyme Bromelain.

Kim Says: This juice is LIGHT! It's REFRESHING! I definitely tasted pineapple. There is a hint of apple and a hint of mint in it. It's a great tasting juice! It's a very nice blend!

How I Felt: It was refreshing to drink! It made me feel good. This would be a great alternative to orange juice. Awesome for the Spring and Summer! Very light!

Beet, Apple, Carrot, Lemon, Ginger
SUPERsweet
BluePrint Says: Drinking beet apple is a healthy way to increase iron intake for both vegetarians and meat eaters. Great source of iron, potassium, folate

Kim Says: I hate beets! Let me say it again! I HATE BEETS! But guess what, I LOVE THIS JUICE! I was dreading drinking this. I just knew I was going to dislike it. I was so surprised. If you like grape juice, you will like this. It was surprisingly smooth. A hint of beet. More apple, carrot, lemon & ginger. VERY GOOD! Highly recommended!

How I Felt: It made me feel energized like the greens above! You can also feel it going through your body. It gives you an awesome feeling.

Lemon, Cayenne, Agave
Sweet
BluePrint Says: Cayenne Pepper's active ingredient capsaicin can help stimulate the circulatory system and support a healthy metabolism. A great antioxidant, high in Vitamin C.

Kim Says: This is like lemonade with a touch of spice. It's very light, but with a little kick to it. I guess because of the Cayenne.

How I Felt: I felt good. I couldn't drink this as fast as the three listed above. I sipped on it. I didn't feel bad after drinking this. You will frequent the bathroom though, when that Cayenne kicks in. LOL Just keeping it real! >.<

Lime, Ginger, Lemon, Agave
Bitterweet
BluePrint Says: Ginger has been been used for over 2000 years to settle upset stomachs and has more recently been found to reduce pain and inflammation. A great source of antioxidant, high in Vitamin C

Kim Says: Take it easy and sip on this one too! This definitely has a lemon lime taste! It has a distinct lemon scent. It tastes lemon-y. You also taste the ginger. It's powerful!

How I Felt: I felt good. I never felt bad. It took me awhile to drink this juice. It wasn't as easy to go down because of the taste. Again, you frequent the bathroom a lot after drinking this, but you don't feel bad.

Cashew, Vanilla, Cinnamon, Agave
Bittersweet
BluePrint Says: The cashews in this bottle are an excellent source of copper (40% daily value), magnesium (20%) and zinc (15%). Raw cashews are potent antioxidants and good sources of copper, manganese, magnesium, phosphorous, and fiber.

Kim Says: It tastes like low-fat or skim milk. The bottle says non-dairy. Despite it's thickness, it tasted watery. You taste vanilla and a hint of cinnamon & cashew. I didn't really care for it, but somebody else may.

How I Felt: For me it was hard to get down, due to my dislike of the taste. But a person that likes low fat & skim milk would probably like this.

My Final Word! I was very impressed with BluePrintJuice! They were fresh. Nearly all of them tasted really good and they had more oomph than the juices I made at home. Honestly, two people could share one bottle (great plastic bottle). The juices were very filling and cut my appetite! Will I give up juicing at home? No. But I could definitely see myself buying these when I need a quick, already made & prepared juice fix. As of right now, you can only purchase these at a retailer (for me Whole Foods Market). It would also be a nice option, if these could be ordered online. I didn't price these at my WFM, but just glancing at some other online articles, they seem to cost $7.99 -$12.99 a bottle. From this article, they seem to last 13 days (source). I wouldn't let them sit that long. In my opinion, you should drink them right away. That also brings up the question regarding shelf-life at the stores...hmmm. I think too much! HaHaHa If you need extra nutrients or energy in your life these are great and it's another option to choose from! Have A Great Day!

*This is a product review for BluePrintJuice. I was given 6 juices for free to sample.
All opinions are 100% my own.

  2. Hi Kim. Like you, I'm not going to start juicing at home, I have enough machines cluttering up my bench. That's why I enjoyed this review. Any juice I drink is bought at the shops. I think I would start with the Pineapple, Apple and Mint one, and then try the others. Great review. You've made me thirsty for some of these juices, I wish I had one right now!

  3. I'm not new to juicing either, but haven't heard of this brand. Looks great though. I like the leafy one. I also like the design of the bottles - so simple. Just looks healthy.

  5. Hiya doll! I have never juiced before in my life, haha. Never heard of this company either, so this was good. They looked great and sound tasty. Shame some of them weren't. But, good that most of them were tasty. I will have to look into this, looks super interesting. I hope you had a great weekend & your new week will be fab xx

  6. These look rather good and definitely healthy. With all the kitchen gadgets I own, a juicer has so far not made it onto my worktop - maybe these are a good alternative. Whenever I get a fresh juice, I go for carrot, apple and ginger - my favourite :-) Hope you have a great start to the week xo

  7. How interesting. I've never tried juicing - I think I can still hear my gymnastics coach in my head telling me not to drink my calories, ha ha. I do tend to feel better if I've chewed food rather than drinking it, but your positive review has me interested in trying some of these, I have to say!

  8. I love the flavour combinations. Definitely different than any juices I've seen so far. I was really interested to hear which ones you loved and surprised that even not loving beetroot normally, that you found that just to be so good. That's a huge feat in itself getting it so tasty!

  10. Hi Kim! Now you made me craving for one of these juices! Love to drink juices too, I am so addicted to them, especially as little snacks during the day! I wish I could find them also here! I would choose the first and the second ones, love those flavors, felt good and energized after have read your reviews!:P Kisses dear, happy Monday! xo

  12. Wow, they have such a cool selection of juices! I would try the cashew one because i'm curious about nut milks. But, like you, I think I would prefer the green juice the pineapple ones!

  13. Yum! I'm a green juice fan, so that one definitely peaks my interest. I'd probably try the one with cashews, too, as I don't mind almond "milk." Have a truly fab Monday, Kim! xo T. http://tickledpinkwoman.blogspot.com

  16. We have a small juicer but funnily enough we have been looking at the larger ones which extract more juice from the fruit. Great review Kim. These are a quick alternative to juicing at home with some great flavour combinations. The only one which doesn't appeal to me is the cashew and vanilla. Have a great week!

  17. I have a raw juice every morning and made everything they have on their menu even before I knew about the company. :) The reservations I have with BluePrint is that there's no juice that would keep all its qualities if kept for almost two weeks, I really do not like the price and the fact that they use agave. If you got a juicer at home, make everything yourself from organic ingredients and for immediate drinking. I know it can be a pain to clean the juicer, but it's so so so worth it! x

  18. Great review, Kim. I'll check these out when I go to Whole Foods next time. I just bought a cheap juicer to do some veggie juices and I love it. It'll be nice to not have to clean up afterwards:P

  24. Oh I have been wanting a juicer for ages! This seems like a great alternative! They JUST opened a Whole Foods in Detroit by my work, I will need to check them out!

  25. Based on the colour of the green one and the combinations of almost all of them I might be wary of trying them if I had seen them in the store. But like coconut water I think I would get them just because they're so amazingly healthy and good for you- and that 'super good' feeling. I hope I see this in the store soon.

  55. It looks delicious and I'm guilty of imbibing in a few $12 bottles of similar stuff this past year, but have a push pull with juicing as every book on eating a sane diet says that juice mainlines too much sugar to your body even if it is the healthy kind of sugar. However, I'm sure it's a great alternative to all the vanilla lattes that I consume, lol. Hope you're having a great week Kim!
