Take a moment. Step back in time. Visualize the supplies you used in school. Remember them? OK, now look at these! Did your notebooks, folders, lunchboxes, journals, water bottles (ahem thermos) and such look as fabulous as these (if so, kudos to your mom! HaHaHa)!?! I was working on another blog post, when I came across these sweet items. The ice cream and popsicles made my eyes light up. I never had anything this cool when I was in school The only thing that came close was Strawberry Shortcake (I had Strawberry Shortcake everything, but that's another story). HaHaHa Kids are so lucky these days! I found out the lady that makes these beautiful items is Timree Gold. She lives in Newport Beach, California and has an impressive
Etsy Shop and
Website. She creates the prettiest things and even offers painting classes. I'm trying to feature more Etsy shops and women entrepreneurs on my blog. It's important to support Small Business owners. Now back to the school topic! Tell me! What cartoon character was on your lunch box? Snoopy, Jem, Barbie, Care Bears, Rainbow Brite, Beauty & The Beast, Nothing? Inquiring minds (well just me) want to know! :) Have A Great Day! Class Is Dismissed!

Hi Kim. These school supplies are so good, I would have loved to have stylish items like these to take to school. Good on you for supporting small businesses like Etsy stores too. There are so many great things on Etsy, you can browse for hours. I think I had a plain lunch box. I did have a Strawberry Shortcake doll though. When you squeezed her tummy she blew out strawberry smelling air hehe. Great post once again!

I kind of wish I was back in school when looking at these items. Really fabulous! I hope you're doing well, doll!
ReplyDeleteSo cool! I like the nautical spiral bound notebook the most!
ReplyDeleteI've always had a penchant for school supplies and even now I like to take a look around when department stores stock up on stationery for kids during the summer.
I used to have really boring school gear but during my last year of high school I found out some really nice notebooks and pens by designer Jordi Lavanda. They became really famous in Spain - I don't know if he still produces new collections every year, I'll have to check it!
Have a fabulous week, Kim! xo
oh that's sooo cute!

I am gonna sound like an old hag now, but: I wish we had cool school stuff like this back in my day!
ReplyDelete:-)
We definitely did not have supplies this cool when I was in school. Kids have so much at their disposal these days in everything! :-) x/Madison
ReplyDeleteThey are such cute little designs! :)
ReplyDeleteI think I actually did have a beauty and the beast lunch box! Definitely had the pencil tin. I was very much a Disney child :)

* Jordi Labanda - ups, I'm forgetting my Spanish spelling!
ReplyDeleteI used to love stocking up on back to school supplies! It took the sting out of actually heading back to school :)
ReplyDeleteHow I would have loved these! Being a true francophile I would have to choose the Poodles and Polkadots! They make me wish I was a teenager again (well almost but I wouldn't want all those exams again!!) I always enjoyed this time of year searching for the perfect pencil case and notebooks. For me September will always be the start of a new year! Hope you are having a great week, Kim.
ReplyDeleteThese items are adorable! I, too, am drawn to the polka dots. Couldn't agree with you more: supporting small, independent business is so very important! I try to shop local shops as much as possible and I do frequent Etsy quite a bit as well. Regarding the lunchbox I had as a kid... Well, I was a girl without a lunchbox. My mother insisted I always eat at the school cafeteria. :( Boo! xo T. http://tickledpinkwoman.blogspot.com
ReplyDeletelove the nautical and the breakfast at tiffany's supplies, seriously sooo cute!!
ReplyDeleteI want to go back to school just looking at these pretty pieces! What a delightful collection and interesting themes, my fav is the delectable ice cream one. Thanks for sharing your VMA style perspective with me.
ReplyDeletegorgeous designs, my fave is breakfast at tiffany's =)
ReplyDeleteOh these are precious!! I quite like the polka dots and the breakfast at tiffanies :)) The Nautical is sweet too. I had at school The Thundercats, Spiderman, Superman, haha. Depends on which year. I loved lunchboxes :))) Have a sweet day doll Xxx

ReplyDeleteHappy Tuesday, Kim!
This stuff is all so cute! I had My Little Pony, ha ha!
ReplyDeleteThese are absolutely adorable! When I was a teacher, one of my favorite things about "back to school" was not only seeing a new group of students but also having an excuse to buy cute school supplies. ;) I especially love the Tiffany's design you showed here!

How fun are these!? I love Etsy and shopping for school supplies was always so much fun!
ReplyDeleteSchool shopping was the best part of going back to school :-) I have a bad memory but I'm pretty sure I did have the Care Bears on my lunch box one year. Perhaps My Little Pony another year~
ReplyDeletealways, koru kate
OMG!OMG! I love all of these, but I think the Breakfast at... ones are my favorite (the glam girl in my just loved it), and the poodles are a close second.
ReplyDeleteI had a Flintstones lunchbox (I think I must have gotten it for free somewhere because I wasn't that much of a Flintstones fan to have bought a lunchbox), but I liked it and it was cute. Of course, if I had my way back then, I would have either gotten a My Little Pony, Hello Kitty , or Barbie lunchbox.
What cute back to school items! I love the lunch boxes! All I remember back in day were Lisa Frank items and trapper keepers. My parents had no concept of what is appropriate for girls so they got me a transformers lunch box and He-man trapper keeper. Boy did I get laughed at :) How awesome would it be to stroll into school with these items you posted. I also recall not being able to concentrate during the class right before lunch because I kept thinking about food. These popsicles definitely would have made it more difficult! haha

ReplyDeleteThese are so cute, I especially like the "Breakfast at" lunch boxes!
ReplyDeleteOh, these are so pretty! Would be difficult to stop stocking up. :) I remember my school supplies very well - everything was VERY sober and VERY soviet, no fancy stuff. Russian kids simply didn't know what they were... Imagine, when I was 5 my parents brought some pretty pencils and flavoured erasers for my cousin. She took them to school and one of the boys in her class thought the eraser was some kind of jelly based sweetie (yes, it was strawberry pink and DID smell of strawberry...) and ate it!!!!

these are adorable! Though my mom was pretty practical and the private school I went to was strict about what we could have to school, I definitely Hello Kittied as much as I could get away with! But you already knew that, right?
ReplyDeleteThese are so cute!! I know I would of love these grade school. Sadly, because I'm commuting and so rough with how I handle my supplies, I don't like to worry how they look that way I won't be disappointed when something happens to it, ha!
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting!

The problem with so many of these awesome products is that they're so pricey sometimes!

ReplyDeleteOh school supplies.... I love thse. My problem with beautiful notebooks is that I don't want to use them because they are sooo nice.
ReplyDeleteMy notebook for school is 10 years old. It is this cool recycled banana peel paper that i refused to use 10 years ago when i was doing my first MBA. I figured since this could be my last MBA i might as well use it!
