Milan turned up the HEAT for Fashion Week! The models for DSquared2 came out struttin'! HaHa I don't know if I should listen to 'Welcome to the Jungle', watch the 'The Lion King' or book a trip to The Serengeti. Day 1 was all about animal prints, butterflies and flowers. Designer's for Fay even made Snoopy look fashionable. I don't know about Gucci you guys. I only liked one item out of the entire collection. Maybe I'm the only one, but I couldn't get with it. It's not the Gucci I'm use to. Below are my favorites. My ABSOLUTE favorite was Alberta Ferretti! Her collection was gorgeous. I'm going to eat some animal crackers and concentrate on Day 2. What did you think about the 1st day of Milan Fashion Week?
Dsquared2
Angelo Marani
Alberta Ferretti
Luisa Beccaria
Fay
I bet you a MILLION monopoly dollars ;) we will see that rainbow snoopy sweater
on some young actress/entertainer (hopefully NOT Miley LOL) in some magazine!
Ironically Gucci was the ONE show I saw from MFW before I read your post! Really liked the dark, loose glamour at Gucci!

I've never heard some of these designers before - I must be old :O(
ReplyDeleteTotally see how animal prints are rocking the runways. So glad they are too. LOVE animal prints.
Have a great day.

I'm with you one Alberta's collection. You know, at Cipriani's they had a small gown display in the window of the hotel reception. Nearly snapped it but didn't, should have for you! X
ReplyDeleteSo far Milan made me very very happy... So many beautiful clothes.... Like heaven. I am looking forward to the live streams, even marked my calendar/set alarm clock. :D
