There was a sprinkle of cultural patterns & prints in collections for Day 5 & 6 of Paris Fashion Week. Both Asian & Tribal influences were predominant. It's always intriguing to see how cultural customs are interpreted and transformed into designs. I'm not a big fan of tribal print, but it's nice to see how designers are softening the look. I really loved Chisato's collection! The use of dragonfly's in her designs were perfect and many of the dresses looked like beautiful watercolor paintings. My favorites from Day 5 were Chisato and Victor Rolf. Also, how FUN was Jean Paul Gaultier's show!?! I loved the dancing and theatrics. My favorites for Day 6 were Andrew Gn, Maison Rabih Kayrouz, Givenchy and Akris. All had really nice collections. Nothing earth-shattering for these days. Have an awesome week everybody!
