Day 5 - Milan Fashion Week S/S 2014

I felt like a leprechaun who had just found a HUGE pot of gold, on Day 5 of Milan Fashion Week. I'm talking about Dolce & Gabbana. Their collection was exquisite. I adored their Fall 2013 collection and loved this one the same. I selected a "few" of my favorites below :). If you're a D&G fan, I would love to hear your thoughts on this collection in comparison to past D&G collections. Loved some of the leather pieces from John Richmond and Marco de Vincenzo. There were some clean pieces from Marni and Massimo Rebecchi. Fabulous flora from Laura Biagiotti. Gorgeous stripes, checks & color from Roccobarocco. Finally, "buckle up" for the fierce cuts of Salvatore Ferragamo. One more day for Milan Fashion Week and then Paris Fashion Week! Does anyone know if Paris Fashion Week is as extensive as Milan (oh wait! never mind, here's the schedule...NINE days!!! Omf'gd That takes you into Oct. 2. Let me think about this one! I think I can! I think I can! HaHaHa)? Milan nearly killed me. LOL Have a great week everybody! Keep it fashionable.

  12. Lace is a fabric which I have always liked and there are so many lovely D&G designs here using this lovely feminine fabric. I notice there's more red - I can't believe I still don't have one single red item!! Gorgeous neutrals in the Salvatore Ferragamo collection too. Enjoy your week!

  25. Another fabulous selection. I admit I'm not sure how to feel about D&G but that's the way it always is when there is a big change at a design house... The collection certainly wasn't a failure and I have a feeling that all of the kinks will be worked out by the time the next Fashion Week rolls around!
