So tell me! What's your poison? I mean your favorite Fall beverage :) I stopped by Starbucks to taste their popular Pumpkin Spice Latte. It was nice, but I don't get the big hoopla over it. Maybe because it's not offered year round. Have you tried one? Do you love or loathe? I prefer hot chocolate with marshmallows, a frappuccino or tea :)I love Starbuck's frappuccinos! So addictive! I would buy the vanilla 4-pack at the grocery store and drink them like there was no tomorrow. HaHaHa I've never been hooked on anything before, but I had to stop cold-turkey from buying them. I was literally going through withdrawals. Anyway, I also bought an iced pumpkin sugar cookie, some banana nut bread, and a couple of slices of iced lemon cake. I can never walk away empty handed.They make everything so appetizing.
I made a couple of stops after Starbucks. I stopped by Home Depot. They always have the prettiest garden center this time of year (here's last year). Then I went to Michaels to pick a wreath. They also had a cool line-up of Haunted Houses (here's last year). I didn't go to Party City this year (here's last year). All this PUMPKIN-ess and I still haven't purchased a pumpkin! HaHaHa It's finally getting a little cooler. I do feel a breeze. :)

ReplyDeleteI've never tried the pumpkin drink at Starbucks - not even sure if we would have it here, as October is spring! Not a coffee drinker, but I do love a Starbucks hot chocolate. Wish a shot of caramel if I'm spoiling myself :)

Yeah, the PSL isn't my favorite either. I usually get a Mocha or a Mocha Frapp (depending on the weather) and some pumpkin bread to satisfy my pumpkin craving :)

Cappuccino or creamy hot chocolate are always my favoutites but I'm so curious about the pupmkin spiced latte that I'll just have to see if they are available over here and try one! The wreath is gorgeous - you seem to have so much more choice when it comes to decorations for Halloween than in my part of the world although this year I have noticed an improvement!

It's true - and it's nice to finally hear someone say that they don't really warrant all of the fuss people make about them :) Personally, I mainly order tea at Starbucks, but if I'm feeling indulgent, I'll go for a nice, spicy chai latte.

I think it's the seasonal thing that makes more people attracted to the Pumpkin Spice Latte. =) I used to love it when I went but I've become more addicted to coffee vs. the sweetness of flavored coffee so I'd rather splurge on getting good coffee nowadays. I desperately try to avoid it because they have the best drinks but I always succumb to ordering the ones with whipped cream! Then of course, I can't stop :) Easier to stay clear.
