These snowman doughnuts from
Krispy Kreme have been on my "holiday-to-eat-list" since the beginning of December. Aren't they cute? I only eat doughnuts twice a year (I'm down one pant & shirt size from last year), so I didn't feel bad getting them. The problem was, I was suppose to get ONE and leave. Well, my doughnut plan failed. I ended up getting a dozen doughnuts!!! LMAO The manager handed my mom & I a free hot doughnut and before I knew it I was picking out a dozen doughnuts. HaHaHa What's worse is, I fell in love with their Christmas tree! It had cute little doughnut & snowman ornaments on it. My inner
Veruca Salt voice said...I want a doughnut tree! I want a doughnut tree NOW! Don't care how, I want it nowwwwwwwww! LOL I eventually pried myself away from their doughnut tree and completed my errands. We then had lunch at La Madeleine New Orleans (I showed you the one in Harahan
HERE). I ordered a grilled chicken caesar salad. Go figure! So that was my diet! Snowman doughnuts and a salad! What a combination! How's your holiday diet going?

As long as you enjoyed them, the rest doesn't matter. :) It's a treat and it's Christmas. :) We've enjoyed ours here, too - I have a soft (very soft) spot for pannetone and needless to say, consumed it in plentiful quantities. :) :) :) Honestly, though, 3 days of Christmas delights made me crave my usual vegetables and savouries so much - trust me, broccoli soup never tasted as good as it did yesterday. :)

Your post makes me want to turn back time to Christmas again, Kim. As always it was over just like that, perhaps next year I will do a better job at gift shopping and putting myself at ease. You looked festive and pretty in that sweater and shade of lipstick. Your wreath is beautiful, I like that it has nice pop of Christmas colors yet not over the top. Too bad all Krispy Creme closed down here, snowman design is too cute. I dont eat donuts much either but I find myself eating too much desserts in the past 2 weeks and my pants feel tight...eeeek. I know what you mean about only eating donuts twice a year - I used to love them as a kid, but it just doesn't work past the age of 14 hehe. Krispy Kreme are so delicious - the best donuts ever. I mentioned to you on Instagram how much I love Krispy Kreme! I eat them way more than I probably should. I'll let you in on a sad little secret, for a while I had the Krispy Kreme app on my phone that would tell me when the hot light was on! LOL! Everyone knows it taste better with the hot light on ;-)
