Too Faced Haute Chocolate Collection Review

Come with me...And you'll be...In a WORLD of pure imagination! I'm on a willy wonka sugar high you guys! Grab a Snickers for this post! Is it Valentine's Day yet? Too Faced Cosmetics has me seeing hearts, eating chocolate and loving their collection (not sponsored)! I've never tried anything by Too Faced. So when they came out with their Haute Chocolate Cosmetic Collection, I knew it would be the perfect time to try their products. Candy themed packaging, yummy colors, and scented chocolate eyeshadow, definitely lured me in. Here's my candy themed review :)

Too Faced Sweethearts Blush ($30)

Isn't the packaging for this blush cute? It reminds me of candy hearts. I never eat them, but I always love the cute messages displayed on them. This blush comes in three (3) shades: candy glow, peach beach and something about berry. It's vegan friendly and paraben-free. The blushes are baked and there are 3 colors within each heart palette. You swirl all 3 colors together (or as you prefer) and apply to your cheeks. "Something About Berry" is very pigmented. Don't let my pictures fool you. You have to use a very light hand, or else you will look like a raggedy-ann doll. If you're unsure, go with peach beach. It's definitely a happy medium between the three colors. I prefer cream blush (blending), but I was impressed with Too Faced's formula.

This is my FAVORITE item out of the entire collection! I'm a lipstick girl! I'm always getting compliments on the lipsticks I wear. I've tried a vast majority of brands. Do you guys remember how I raved over Marc Jacobs? Well, I like this lip creme even MORE! It's creamy! Not sticky! Moisturizing! Pigmented! It doesn't feel like LIP-STICK! I'm throwing away my stash (except Marc Jacobs) and buying more of these! I'm serious. Too Faced, I love you. Whatever the formula is for this, it's beyond brilliant. It's a beautiful thing. I have to buy more. LOVE w/ whip cream, a cherry & sprinkles on top! :) Oh! The color Jellybean is gorgeous! They say raspberry red...I say hot pink ;)

Too Faced Candy Bar Pop Out Makeup Palette ($25)

Honestly, I just purchased this for the candy bar iPhone case. HaHaHa Just keeping it real. I could've cared less about the eyeshadows. But I'll review it anyway. It contains 11 eyeshadows, a blush and bronzer. They're ok, but I wouldn't waste my money on them. The colors & pigmentation are hit or miss. The iPhone case is nice. I wanted it, because I collect "sweet" and "dessert inspired" packaged makeup. So bottom line...Save $25 on this, unless you're a collector. Makeup-wise, you can find something better. I can't believe my arm is that pale? :(

Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Collection ($49)

This eyeshadow palette is so awesome. It looks like a chocolate candy bar on the outside and it has a lovely mirror on the inside. The eye shadows are chocolate scented (pure antioxidant-rich cocoa powder) and they smell awesome too. Too Faced even put together some "how-to's" of shades that blend well together. I'm not an eyeshadow connoisseur, so that really helps. This palette will definitely be fun to play with. People are always asking whether they should get Urban Decay's Naked Palette 3 or this one. They're very different! I don't own Naked 3, but I've seen enough swatches. The Too Faced shades are "darker". Naked 3 is more neutral, everyday wear. At least that's how I see it. I think you would get more versatility out of the Naked 3 palette. I plan on purchasing Naked 2 and 3 later this year, but I luuuvvvve this palette. Creme Brulee..YES! Hazelnut...YES! Amaretto...YES!!! Hope you guys enjoyed :)
