Challenge #9 - Review AVEENO®'s Stress Relief Body Wash - Zzzz! Zzzz! Oh, pardon ME! How rude! I'm trying to type this blog post, after showering with AVEENO®'s Stress Relief Body Wash. There should be a disclaimer! Don't blog, after using body wash! HaHaHa AVEENO® didn't send this to me. I found out about it on instagram, through another blogger's picture and decided to try it. It fits into my de-stress challenge (so why not?). I've only used it 2 nights and I feel super confident in doing a review. It's a buy! It does everything it says. Let me make this short and to the point, because I'm sleepy. It's creamy (milky white). A small dollop is enough to lather your entire body. It rinses CLEAN! It's not heavy! The scent is delightful. It's a light scent that's very pleasing (smell it in the store). In the past, I've had some strong-"beep" lavender scents (way too much & overpowering). It's composed of oat, lavender, chamomile and ylang-ylang. Your skin will feel super soft, after getting out the shower. I will also go as far to say, this is unisex. I think everyone in your family would love this. I paid about $7.49 + tax for this at Walgreens. Kmart has it for $6.49 + tax. Now, I'm yawning. This moisturizes really well. If you have super dry skin, just use the AVEENO daily moisturizing lotion afterwards (but you won't need much). Once you use this, slip on your nightgown, tshirt, pajamas or nothing at all (<-- no comment! LOL I'm a tshirt girl!). Uhhh, what else? It's soap-free, dye-free, and hypoallergenic. If you use this AND listen to those apps I told you about...you won't wake up til Easter. LOL Off to bed I go! Sweet dreams!

AVEENO® Stress Relief Body Wash is Supersweet
You know, I haven't used the body wash, but swear by the Sress Relief moisturiser. At times, my leg can itch like crazy during drier weather to the point where I really want to scratch madly, but the Aveeno Stress relief is amazing for calming down the itch sensation. I was amazed at how effective it is. I highly recommend it. Xx
ReplyDeleteStay alert. ;D
Hahah this post made me laugh so much. The product itself sounds lovely, but just the way you described everything from sleeping in the nudey to those overpowering lavender scents we have already talked about. Oh Lordy, who knew blogging could be such fun.
ReplyDeleteOh, this sounds good and it's perfect for your challenge. You know I find my kind of boring to post about. All I mention is how my sleep went... lol~ :X

I told you I'm noting down the products for my upcoming Aveeno haul (there aren't retailers nearby, so I will probably order online). In the meantime I'm going to test a few products from Planter's. This body wash sounds truly delightful. Thank you for another super review!!

Hope you had a great rest, Kim:)
ReplyDeleteI used the Aveeno baby wash when all the kids were infants and they sure did smell good afterwards:) Might give this a go. I love Aveeno!
Haha it sounds like the kind of product I need! Why have a shower when I can have a stress relief shower? I think I recall seeing these products in our local store - or at least similar packaging! - I'll need to have a closer look next time I'm grocery shopping!

It sounds good. Great review
ReplyDeleteSounds like this contributed to an amazing nights sleep! (good thing you don't shower in the AM! Haha).
ReplyDeleteI've definitely had my fare share of those off putting lavender scents, so I'm glad this one top notch.

So glad you are enjoying the products! And I love that it is soap free, dye free and hypoallergenic- I get so sick of all these nasty for your skin products…

I love lavender scented everything! This sounds like the perfect body wash for an evening shower! I'll just have to remember not to use it in the morning, lol!

The last time I used an Aveeno body wash was when I was seventeen - I got the chicken pox just before my high school graduation and their oatmeal baths were a god send! But since I always think chicken pox when I think of Aveeno now, I don't regularly go looking for their products in stores. This one sounds wonderful, though, I'll have to look for it next time I need to replenish my body wash!
