Soap And Glory The Breakfast Scrub Product Review

Last week I kicked off my Soap & Glory Series with a review of The Sugar Crush Collection. Today, I'll be reviewing The Breakfast Scrub (RRP £8.00 - 9.36 300 ML). Every time I use this scrub, I think of the 80's movie The Breakfast Club. HaHaHa I just recently found out, the movie celebrated it's 30th Anniversary! I feel so old! HaHaHa I loved Molly Ringwald (Claire) & Judd Nelson (John)! The brat pack could do no wrong in my book at the time. It was a very funny & insightful movie and the soundtrack was equally as good. Getting back to The Breakfast Scrub, I want to give a HUGE SHOUT OUT AND THANK YOU to Kizzy of The Dainty Dolls House. Kizzy sent me a box loaded with Soap & Glory products to try and The Breakfast Scrub was one of them. It was so sweet of her. I love Kizzy to pieces and she's truly an awesome friend. This is my first time trying Soap & Glory products. I'm doing this series, so I can share my thoughts with you. Look for a Soap & Glory Review, once a week on A Very Sweet Blog.
Despite it's name, The Breakfast Scrub is actually listed as a BODY POLISH. Soap & Glory has body scrubs, body polishers and body exfoliators (so definitely pay attention to that minor/major detail when purchasing). In last week's review, I raved about the Sugar Crush Body Scrub. However, I mentioned I liked something better. That something better is The Breakfast Scrub. The Sugar Crush Body Scrub (to me) is a once-a-week, heavy duty scrub. The Breakfast Scrub (to me) is a lighter-weight, ANYtime scrub (polisher). I like that, because you can use it every or every other day. It gives you more options. Another thing I like, is that it smells homemade and will work with ANY of the other Soap & Glory products and their scents. It's an excellent neutral. It has a great maple scent, but not a (heavy) maple feeling. It tauts having bananas, oat, almond & honey extracts, organic cupuacu, and shea butter. It's not greasy. It's not oily. It rinses clean and leaves your skin feeling soft. Use your favorite lotion afterwards. The bad news (for some! HaHaHa) is it's only available in the UK (Soap & Glory, Boots etc) and/or on eBay (very limited). The Boots USA Store doesn't carry any Soap & Glory products. Sephora USA only carries some Soap & Glory products and unfortunately (as of yet) doesn't carry this. But if you get your hands on it, you'll love it. I know I'm treasuring my jar. My skin always feels so good after using it. BTW, I'm going to Sephora today to pick up my 3rd bottle of Sugar Crush Body Wash. I'm totally addicted! HaHaHa Next week, I'll review a Soap & Glory body wash that's ultimate girly girl-ish. Have you tried any Soap & Glory scrubs, polishers or exfoliators? I wish you all a lovely, lovely weekend! Go out and have a fabulous breakfast this weekend! ;)

  8. Shame it's not easy to get in the US - usually you have almost everything in the US and it's difficult to get elsewhere, in my experience anyway, haha!

It's good you got it sent to you to try, such a lovely gift :)

  31. Man, I was going to be all about this, but I don't live in the UK. And I'm paranoid about buying anything like cleansers or make up on Ebay because I found out some people fake products and sell them, and the fake products can be damaging! :( It sounds lovely, though, and if Sephora ever adds this to their collection I will check it out!
