I had breakfast at the cutest restaurant! It's called
The National Exemplar. It's about 16 minutes away from where my aunt lives. It's in an area called Mariemont Village (Cincinnati, Ohio). Mariemont Village is so charming and has the cutest shops! You would love it! You can dine inside or outside at The National Exemplar. The outside is SO gorgeous. Whoever did their landscaping & design, gets two thumbs up from me. I wish I could pack it up and take it home with me! HaHaHa They have beautiful potted trees with twinkle lights, colorful flowers and shrubbery all around. The inside boasts a fireplace (but of course, they had the ac on...Summer) and pretty vintage pictures. You don't need a reservation for breakfast or lunch (unless you have a large party of people), but for dinner you do (so definitely check for availability / right now they're booked 31 days in advance!!!). Their breakfast was really good and their breakfast prices will not break your bank account. What's fabulous about The National Exemplar is that it is an extension of
Mariemont Inn (Best Western Hotel). I wouldn't mind staying there. Mariemont Inn is a historic hotel that was built in the mid-1920's. It's funny, but you feel like a knight in shining armor with a horse will come out anytime. HaHaHa Ok, so here are my pics! I'll show you some other cool places later this week, in the very next block! I love Mariemont Village :) NOTE: My posting will be very sporadic (2 - 3 times a week), but I will definitely keep up with YOUR blogs.

I see is so full of gorgeous things to do and see around she lives, which will make me happy as well!:P The restaurant sounds and looks excellent, the food is mouthwatering, especially the pancake. You look utterly adorable, b&w suits u and I just need a maxi dress too! Have a beautful week dear, hugs! xo

Oooooo....how lovely! I can see why you wanna take home the outside setting, Kim:) I love it too!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love your maxi, missy:)
The place looks great and sounds great. I'm not sure there are knights in the 1920's though. This reminds me of a cafe back where I lived when I was younger. It's called volante, and it's one of the oldest buildings there. And i love their breakfast! Pancake and eggs.
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable place. I love places like this.
ReplyDeleteCute outfit Kim! And that place looks so nice! I love the outside dinning area!
ReplyDeleteI have always loved an outside seating area at restaurants but then again the inside of this historical place is so cosy and you can't beat that. This so cute Kim. Glad you are having a blast :).

Oh you dressed so lovely! 31 days booking in advance? Jeez. It's like when I saw the massive queue outside Prada the other day and was like, seriously? How can people afford this stuff? Your breakfast looks like it was lovely. I love some good foliage so trees with sparkly lights are a hit for me. I had to visit your site to try and find my friend a gift the other day, oh the ways you help me out, Kim! Rosemary x

ReplyDeleteHi Kim, I love having breakfast outside. I'm not a fan of making breakfast. This restaurant looked cozy! Your maxi dress is fabulous too! Good pairing with the cardigan.
ReplyDeleteOver the weekend, I spoke to my friend who just came back from a conference in New Orleans. She went in April. I told her that I'd love to visit it one day since I have a good blogger friend who lives there. She told me that you guys have a street that blocked off for some festival. She likes it there but she's wasn't keen about not having any Chinese restaurants. Lol. Anyway, I'd love to visit you one day or you can visit me. Have a great week!
