LUSH Bubblegum Lip Scrub Product Review
Do you use lip scrub? If so, do you buy or make your own? Lip scrub is something I never thought I really needed. I drink lots of water and stay hydrated. I apply Fresh's Sugar Rose Lip Treatment (lip balm) daily. I use my toothbrush to exfoliate my lips & tongue. My lipstick goes on smoothly (you guys have seen my lipstick reviews!). I really didn't think my lips could get any softer or smoother! Well, I was wrong...wrong...wrong! When I purchased Lush's Strawberry Shaving Soap, I also purchased their Bubblegum Lip Scrub ($9.95 USD). I'm in LOVE! It smells exactly like bubblegum and it's a gorgeous pink color. You only need a pinch (smidgen)! This very small jar will last you a very long time. Apply the scrub to your lips, rinse and trust me it will make your lips even smoother than what you expected. I didn't think it was possible. It moisturizes too! It looks dry as hell in the jar. It even feels dry! But when you apply it to your lips, the moisture sets in. You can feel it (but it's not oily or greasy). Will it last over a year? I think that's stretching it! I would go with BEST USED FRESH! Whether you make your own lip scrub or buy it, add a lip scrub to your beauty routine! Your lips will thank you! I never thought I would say that! LOL I love this stuff! Now I need to compare it to other brands! Lush's Bubblegum Lip Scrub is the BUBBLEGUM YUM YUM BOMB! Have A Great Weekend Everybody!

Oh I've never tried a lip scrub! I use body scrub, hand scrub, face scrub though...maybe I should give it a go! :)

I'm such a fan of the Lush lip scrubs! I love the Mint Julips one (tastes like mint choc chip) and the Popcorn lip scrub is lovely too x

This lip scrub sounds amazing Kim! You got my attention when you mentioned that it smells exactly like bubblegum. I'm using a Good Earth Beauty pink lemonade lip scrub now but I think I might try to make my own when I'm finished with it. Happy weekend!

I really like the idea of the fragrance (the kid in me :) ) and having something available in a jar because I usually do what you do, but I am not too keen on the added ingredients in this one... :( Now I read the label, I can see how easy it would be to make my own (and keep it in a jar). Also if you want super smooth and beautiful lips, just use raw organic honey - apply a little bit, try not to lick it off for a few minutes and then rinse. :) Coconut oil is also amazing, especially when mixed with sugar. x

I don't think I've used a lip scrub before, but I know there have been times when I could have used it, especially when I noticed my lipstick wasn't going on as smoothly as I like. I'm going to have to give this a shot!

Oh Kim. You're giving me the idea to buy Lush lip scrub. Looks and sounds so sweet. And the part about it looking dry but feeling moisturizing w/o being oily sounds like a dream. I might just purchase this instead of making my own sugar scrub.
