Cars and Airplanes

I'm so glad I didn't skip seeing Elvis Presley's Automobile Museum. Elvis had so many cool cars! He even had 2 pink ones! Who would've thought!?! Elvis? Pink? Really? I LOVED THEM! The jeep was so cute and reminded me of something from a Barbie Collection.HaHaHa One of the pink cars and the blue one below, were actually featured in two paintings (that can be found in the Heartbreak Hotel). I included those paintings below. He also had a cool purple car. It didn't start purple, it was actually white, but he painted it purple. It's a gorgeous eggplant color. He was also very generous and bought cars for family members, employees and friends. After seeing all of this, I felt like breaking out in song and singing Gary Numan's song CARS! HaHaHa Elvis owned 2 airplanes. A regular size plane, called the Lisa Marie and a smaller jet. He had special closets to hang his clothes. A gold toilet and sink on the plane. A huge bed. A hair salon. It was crazy WILD! LOL Also, a television? I didn't think they could signals back then (at least in the air)! HaHaHa Everything looked SO old, but it didn't smell musty. Unbelievable. They are thinking about getting rid of the planes though. They're really old. I'm finding out Elvis' estate was huge! More to come folks...more to come.
