I was sent a limited edition 6.7oz bottle of Clinique Moisturizing Lotion ($38 USD) with 4-charm key chain. Ten dollars ($10 USD) from the purchase of this moisturizer will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Association. I have sensitive skin and have been using it for a couple of weeks now and have had no problems. It felt really moisturizing to my skin. This is for VERY DRY to DRY COMBINATION SKIN. I really like the bottle. I remember when Clinique's packaging was composed of a hard glass, but this is plastic. So if you drop it, it doesn't break. Plus, it's easy to get the product out. The pump is sturdy and dispenses just the right amount of product. This moisturizer can be found at Macys, Sephora, and Clinique.

Such a good cause! Glad you're posting about it to help raise awareness too Kim! It's good that some of the money from the sales of the lotion goes to charity :)

Oh I didn't know they'd changed the packaging - the plastic will be much more travel friendly! I have been known to shatter my fair share of glass bottles on tiled bathroom floors...
ReplyDeleteLovely post Kim x
Cancer is horrible and I hope that there will be a cure for it soon! My aunt has it but thank God now she is ok. This is a great campaign, Kim!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great cause, Kim. My dad's side has a history of breast cancer, so this is something that's always a worry:( Thanks for sharing this campaign.
ReplyDeletePS I've always loved this Clinique moisturizer:)
What a great collaboration! The Clinique moisturizer is a true classic. My husband's family has had various forms of cancer and it is always important to spread awareness!

Awesome campaign!! Thanks for participating in it Kim, that's really great! Cute keychain too!
ReplyDeleteGreat campaign! I'm sorry to hear cancer is in your family. It is so horrible and awareness is key! We have melanoma on both sides of our family so I won't be surprised if I am diagnosed some day. Luckily that is the easiest cancer to remove.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a great campaign, and I'm excited to hear about the other products.
ReplyDeleteI'm very sorry to hear your family has had to deal with cancer. It's probably the worst possible thing to have to go through, and it's horrific just how many individuals it affects.
Chic on the Cheap
I never try it!!

I did not know that they had a survival testimonial campaign going on, to me these are the most effective.
ReplyDeleteI have not used Clinique for a while but have always thought of their products as quality ones.

Breast cancer awareness is so important. I'm happy to see that you are in support of this great cause. My work usually does a fundraiser every year. I loved viewing the video, so honest and inspiring. :) Well done Clinique!

What a wonderful collaboration Kim! I can imagine the stories from this campaign would be inspiring and encouraging to both patients and survivors. I remember when this lotion used to come in a glass bottle and plastic is so mcuh more practical.

I must admit, companies who do something to raise awareness of BC often leave me feel odd... I do admire them for doing something to the cause, however I can't help but feel that a lot of it is pure marketing and desire to sell more products.
ReplyDeleteA lot of them also sell products containing parabens that have been linked to breast cancer (parabens have been found in breast tissue of the cancer patients, quite a few years ago now... plus they disturb the endocrine system in general). Interestingly, Clinique seem to have removed them from their original formula (yay!), but now puts everything in plastic (why?), which has also been known to cause hormonal imbalances...
Estee Lauder use parabens in so many of their formulas I lost count. Ironially, I love the brand and pretty much everything they sell and was once a long-term user (couldn't imagine my life without their creams and make-up!), but the whole synthetic and paraben story just killed it in me... :(
Great to purchase for the awareness
ReplyDeleteSuch a great campaign to bring awareness to a horrible disease!
ReplyDeleteHi Kim, I LOVE that cream from Clinique and have been using it for years. This was a nice purchase and love the key ring. Have a nice week.

I've actually been looking for a moisturizer,t hanks for the review!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful collaboration. I lost a good friend to breast cancer. This sounds like a wonderful campaign to raise awareness.
ReplyDeleteGreat campaign for a good cause. I love all clinique products, they are hypoallergenic and gentle on the skin just perfect for me! Have a nice day Kim! <3 xo
ReplyDeleteI love that it comes in a plastic bottle! the glass bottles look fancier, but holy cow are they hard to get the product out of!
ReplyDeleteI much prefer this moisturiser now that it comes in a plastic bottle with a pump - my mum always used this growing up and I broke her glass bottles a few times...
