Zoya Naturel Deux 2 and Entice & Ignite Collection Selections: Review and Swatches

Zoya and I had a rough start about two years ago. I picked out about 4 nail polishes and none of them worked for me (read here). HaHaHa  It wasn't the colors, but the quality that frustrated me. I swore I wouldn't buy anymore. Well 2 years later, my little beauty heart has changed. HaHaHa I followed other beauty bloggers, wrote down colors that looked good on them and waited for Zoya to have a sale. They recently had a Buy 3 for $15, so I jumped at the chance to try them again. The third try was the charm! I love them all! Plus they are FIVE FREE: formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, toluene, camphor & dibutyl phthalate free (vegan friendly nail lacquer). Spencer, Chanelle and Madeline only required ONE COAT. Aubrey, Aurora and Autumn required TWO COATS. I can't vouch for the lasting time on these, because I just got them a week ago, but they are lovely. Now, AURORA was a mistake. I wanted another color, but I must've mistakenly typed in the wrong shade (can't you tell how different it is from the others I selected? HaHaHa). It's like purple meets Sprite. It's super fizzy & bubbly looking! But I'll keep it. Just one suggestion with application of Autumn and Aurora! The first coat should be a thin layer...let dry...then add a second coat. If not, it won't look even. They're a little thicker. Other than that, I have no complaints. My favorites are Madeline and Aubrey (purplish mauve shades). I'm taking those with me on my trip. Have a great weekend everybody.

Can't you tell Aurora was the mistake? HaHaHa Different from everything else I selected! HaHaHa

  5. I think the Aurora is a happy mistake - that's such a fun colour! :)

I love my Zoya polishes - they always have such great wear-time for me. But I don't have many, they are hard to get here in Australia! So I end up wearing my OPI more, they are stocked almost everywhere you look! Not as long wear time though :(

  18. I think all the shades are stunning! I personally would mix Aubrey and Aurora together as in 4 fingers with Aubrey and 1 finger with Aurora, it would be so chic or at least in my mind it will be chic. LOL!
I am soooo sorry that I can't reply to your comment on my blog, somehow the darn 'reply' button is missing. :-(

  26. I am reluctant now to try nail varnish brands which I'm not familiar with as I have bought too many disappointing ones in the past, attracted simply by the colour. I've heard of Zoya but maybe I should give this one a try having read your review. I love those earthy shades and Aubrey too which is such a rich shade. Have a lovely weekend, Kim!

  30. Nice colors, except for the last two, Aurora and Autumn. I'm not a big fan of sparkly nail polishes, so I would not have chosen either of these. But the others are my kind of colors. I will have to try the Madeline one since I've been trying to find a light pink that isn't too pink.

  39. I know what you mean about Zoya, I tried it a few years ago and wasn't a huge fan so I always use OPI, LVX and Essie but maybe I should give it another try! The Madeline shade is so pretty for fall and I know what you mean about Aurora, but at least it was on sale hehe. :)

  41. Wow - Aurora really is super frizzy and bright on, it almost looks like purple champagne bubbles! I actually think the colour fits in quite well with the rest, but the finish is definitely... unusual ;) I've never tried Zoya and I have so many polishes right now, I should probably wait. But you do have me tempted!

  42. I've meant to try Zoya nail polishes for some time: here they sell them along with a kit that should protect your nails from chipping and make them more elastic, so that the nail polish lasts longer. You really have beautiful nails and I love the colours you selected (Aurora not that much honestly). Happy Sunday

I really love Zoya polishes The colors are always very pretty and I just think they are just so fun You have quite a lineup of shades here I just counted my polishes, all 85 of them, I don't think I can buy anymore for a while. I try to throw one out when I buy a new one, but it doesn't always work!
