A Frosted Christmas

Merry Christmas! Just taking a moment to wish you & your family a happy holiday. May all your prayers, hopes, wishes and desires come true. Have faith, believe and know God will always grant what is best for you. Remember to give and help others whenever (and whatever) you can. That's always been my philosophy. It will come back to you (in more ways than one). A Frosted Christmas? Did you think I was talking about the weather? Au contraire! It's only 40 degrees Fahrenheit in New Orleans. I'm having a frosted Christmas of another kind. One that is tastefully sweet! I received so many beautiful gifts from both family & friends (see below) near and far. I wanted to share them with you today and give thanks to them. I gift myself throughout the year, but I did purchase a gift for you and me ;) Enjoy the holidays. I'm going to the movies to see Exodus Gods & Kings and The Hobbit. I'll be back with a new post next week and a year in review. God Bless.

(above) Iced sugar cookies from Sugar Me Desserterie in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. I found them on Etsy. Each cookie is individually wrapped and padded with bubble wrap. They are beautifully decorated and taste delicious. (below) My snowmen pajamas and mug! HaHaHa I kind of have a mini marshmallow addiction. I love them in hot chocolate. I actually did a post on it (click here). I usually purchase Dunkin Doughnut K-cups for my Keurig. I use my Keurig so much, and omg'sh peach Snapple iced tea!

(above) A friend gifted me these Kate Spade gloves! I love BOTH the box and the gloves! HaHaHa The pink & blue box is so pretty. I love the bow detail on the gloves. So sassy.

(above) A gift to myself. I love Apple ipod shuffles. Whenever I'm cleaning the house or walking on the treadmill at home, I listen to music (music helps me get through tasks! HaHaHa). You can personalize these. When they first came out, I had 3 personalized with Memoir of a Geisha quotes (love that book). This time I chose some favorite phrases of mine: let them eat cake (pink), visions of sugar plums (purple) and my favorite things (red). I can't wait to fill these with music.

(above) A gift from a family member. I've owned a clarisonic for years (see here)! This makes the one I have look...um plain. HaHaHa I feel like singing i'm so fancy! HaHaHa

(above) My MOM is the best! She said, this is your Christmas and Birthday (Feb 20) present! I'll take that mom! HaHaHa I've been wanting this mirror and she got it for me. It's by Simplehuman. It can be found other places, like Sephora. (below) I also wanted to upgrade my camera and she got me a Canon Rebel T5i (currently using Canon Rebel T3 no i lol) (below) I purchased some doberge squares and other pastries from Haydels Bakery (same bakery that did my birthday cake this year). They're so good!

(above) Too Faced Cosmetics just came out with a semi-sweet eye shadow chocolate bar, so I purchased one for me and one for you. It's available now at Too Faced Cosmetics and Sephora. Look for a review and giveaway in January ;) I also want the Soul Mates. LOL

(above) I received a Christmas parcel from SINGAPORE! My blog buddy from Little Luxury List sent me a box filled with Asian beauty treats and sweets to sample & taste. I can't thank her enough, because I love trying international foods and beauty products. Look for a review of each product in a blog post in February. I want to take my time and sample each one. Everything looks so good! I know I'm going to love them all.

(above) I received a Christmas parcel from CANADA! I met Jo of White Roses and Coffee through blogging and we have become really good friends. She's an outstanding woman. Fabulous wife and mother, has amazing style and a very giving spirit. She's written several posts for A Very Sweet Blog, particularly on Asian culture & customs. A couple of years back, I started practicing a lot of the beliefs & rituals for CNY (pay off all debts, clean home etc) and it's really helped me overall as a person. Many are just excellent practices. Jo, thank you so much for the L'Occitane gift set! I LOVE the candy theme box and the shea butter will help me with my dry skin. The emerald green and gold earrings are absolutely gorgeous. Can't wait to wear them. You are the accessory queen and I lack accessories HaHaHa (so greatly appreciated). The Dior Passion Shock (Golden Shock Collection) lipstick is SO PRETTY! I'm a lipstick girl! I can't thank you enough. I can't wait to try BLISS! Everything is beautiful. And I LOVE your new blog cards Jo!

(above) I received a Christmas parcel from SCOTLAND! Kizzy from The Dainty Dolls House and I are BEST FRIENDS! We are always emailing each other, talking on Twitter, Instagram or IM one another. There's rarely a day that goes by, that we don't communicate in some form or fashion. Kizzy is exemplary! She and her husband are the cutest couple. They love, adore, respect and compliment one another. I always tell her, I want a love like that. They have two of the prettiest and sweetest girls. Just a lovely family. Well, Kizzy sent me a box filled to the brim with beauty treats I can't get here in the USA. I will be doing blog posts on each one of these, PLUS more Soap & Glory products she sent me last year (mascara etc.)! I love Soap & Glory! Check out my series! So stay tuned! Kizzy, I thought I was going to have a beauty heart attack when I saw all of these sweet treats. Thank You SO MUCH! I appreciate everything!
