Lancome Paris Grandiose Mascara Review

I'm always raving about Lancome mascaras, but I really don't like this one. Let me start off with the good. The packaging is very pretty. It feels good when you hold it in your hands and there's a beautiful faux flower encased inside the ombre cap. This mascara will lift and lengthen your lashes to infinity and beyond. I also didn't experience any smudging while wearing this mascara. Now, the bad. When you unscrew the cap you will have a little struggle getting the goose swan neck brush completely out (annoying). I kept fighting with the shape of the wand during application. When applying the mascara, if not careful you can get mascara on your skin (near the side of your eye). I found this mascara to be thick, heavy and it clumped my eyelashes together in 2's and 3's. I read other reviews, and bloggers recommend using a lash comb (so eyelashes won't clump together). The problem is this mascara dries super fast, so you better be quick if using a lash comb (or risk plucking your eyelashes out). Volume? No. To me, it gives off a spider-look effect (which I hate). There's also some fall out, once it dries. As you can tell, I'm really disappointed with this product. It costs way too much ($32) to have these kind of problems. I was going to do a giveaway with this, but I feel so strongly that it's NOT good, I've decided against it. There are much better mascaras out there. One coat of mascara is on my eyes below. Don't even think about two! LOL
