Earlier this year, I fell in love with
Too Faced Cosmetics La Creme Lipsticks. The first one I tried was
Jellybean. I couldn't get over its pigmentation and how moisturizing it was. I've added two more to my collection: Pink Chocolate and Spice Spice Baby. I LOVE Pink Chocolate (berry brown)! For some reason, I look better in darker lipsticks. Especially berries and reds. The other is Spice Spice Baby (dusty pink). It was ok, but it didn't compliment me as much. I saw it on others and thought it would work for me, but it looks better on paler skin tones (google it). The Spice Spice Baby SHIMMER lipstick, that came in the
Too Faced Under The Misteltoe set looks better on me than this one (I think it's more coral. Maybe I'll mix them.). Lipstick shades can be so fickle. Do you look better in darker or lighter (lipsticks or glosses)?

I love the names of these lipsticks :) I prefer more neutral colours but I find in winter time darker colours look much better :)

These lipsticks look beautiful on you Kim! I agree lipsticks can be fickle lol. I think I prefer lighter color lipsticks, because of all the bright colors especially pink! I really want to try these colors you discussed. They're so pretty!

Pink Chocolate is sooooo your colour, Kim! It just looks fab on you. I feel like I look better on darker lippies too, but I do love nude shades as well.

ReplyDeleteGreat review Kim and I see what you mean because I like the name of the color, but it seems like it should be darker or deeper and it comes out lighter. I've always been a fan of Too Faced though so I'd definitely give it a try.

ReplyDeleteI hope you had a wonderful Christmas, Kim! I have to say, I actually think both of these colours compliment you really well, but it's all about what you feel good in. I think there are very few shades of lipsticks I really can't wear, but I feel best on either one end of the extremes - dark/bold or completely neutral. I only own a few shades in between and they're my least worn colours by far. I recently tried Too Faced for the first time and love it - I may just have to give their lip colours a go, too. Glad to hear you renewed without drama this year, hoping my upcoming renewal goes the same way!

These seems to be a very good lipstick. I like both colours. They both look good on you. The Spice Spice colour seems good for day and the darker shade for evening. I will use them both. I also prefer the darker shade especially the pink Browns and berry colours looks better on me. I wish you a Happy New Yeay KIm.
