2014 was an interesting year. Very TRIPpy! It took a lot of unexpected twists and turns.
I literally felt like Alice In Wonderland! It was an adventure and none of it was planned. Here's my 2014 year in review!

New Orleans, Louisiana, USA (where I live)
I rediscovered walking outside at beautiful Audubon Park. I discovered serenity in the sculptures at The Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden. I gave tribute to my late grandfather and his favorite Community Coffee. Haydel's Bakery made me the best birthday cake.
Memphis, Tennessee, USA
I had a chance to discover EVERYthing about Elvis Presley: Heartbreak Hotel, Graceland, his clothes, planes and read the book Elvis and Me. He was an interesting man. I plan on returning to Memphis, to see Beale Street and the Civil Rights Museum.
Great Women: Past & Present
Earlier this year, I read "I Am Malala". It was an extraordinary book. The end of this year, she won The Nobel Peace Prize. I was ecstatic for her. I loved Princess Diana and while in Cincinnati, Ohio I had a chance to see an exhibit that included her wedding gown, designer dresses and other personal treasures before it returned to the UK. I'll never forget that experience.
Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
I found a small, charming town within Cincinnati, Ohio called Mariemont Village. Absolutely beautiful! I loved The National Exemplar (ate there for breakfast) and Mariemont movie theater.
Beau Rivage Resort & Casino (Biloxi, Mississippi USA)
I've been before, but never for Thanksgiving. Beau Rivage is so pretty for the holidays
A Taste Of What Is In My Closet
I'm not a fashion blogger, but I did manage to show morsels of my personal style and what's in my closet.
(here, here, here, here, here, here, here and here LOL)

Chanel, Chanel, Chanel
I have a love/hate with Karl Lagerfeld, but I loved his "shopping" collection. I purchased the Swatch watch below (not Chanel lol) but haven't worn it yet. Definitely next year.
Alice In Wonderland
I love Alice in Wonderland anything! Always did. Two products came out this year, with an Alice in Wonderland theme. Loved them both. I'm still using the DHC Deep Cleansing Oil to remove my makeup. It's awesome and now a staple in my beauty routine. Love the Dior Wonderland nail polish, so I plan on purchasing the coordinating lip gloss.
Let Them Eat Cake and More Cake
These were all new brands to me, with the exception of Kate Spade. Really loved the packaging of Tokyo Milk's Let Them Eat Cake and Bon Bon products. Lipstick Queen's, frosted lavender lipstick is absolutely amazing. Sara Happ's Confetti Cake lip scrub beat out my favorite lip scrubs: Lush's Bubblegum and Fresh's Lip Scrub. I'm drinking out of my Kate Spade "Eat Cake For Breakfast" Mugs, but still haven't used the journal. It's too pretty to write in at the moment :)
Soap & Glory
I'm a Soap & Glory girl, THANKS to my best friend Kizzy of The Dainty Dolls House. She sent me some products the beginning of this year. I can't get enough of Sugar Crush EVERYTHING, Smoothie Body Buttercream and Breakfast Scrub (Yeah Babyyy!)
MAC Collections
I only purchased from 4 MAC Collections this year (trust me there were MANY more). Loved Rocky Horror Picture Show, Playland, Simpsons and the nail polish from the Brooke Shields Collection.

Benefit Skincare & Cosmetics
A total SURPRISE for me, was when I tried Benefit's Skincare Collection. It's now what I use everyday. I also fell in love with Majorette blush. It's the perfect peach color.
