Maybelline The Nudes Eye Shadow Palette Review & Swatches

Maybelline's The Nudes Eyeshadow Palette is a great deal. I picked mine up from Walgreens, after reading Ashley's (my beauty blog buddy) blog posts here and here (Ashley Sue Makeup Blog). Love brown eye shadows? This palette reminds me of a box of assorted chocolates. There's dark chocolate, milk chocolate, and cream colors. There are taupes and a gold. There's also black (it's just not jet black). You get 12 shades in an assortment of mattes and shimmers. A double-ended sponge applicator is included and your eye shadows peek at you from the palette's clear window. Packaging is very sleek and fits comfortably in the palm of your hand. Both lighter and darker colors are buildable. These eye shadows look better ON than swatched (for some strange reason). Google this palette. They're like that dress you see on a hanger in a store and say hmmm. Then someone encourages you to try it on, and you say WOW it looks so much better on than hanging on the hanger. Same for this palette my friends.

    This pallete has amazing shades and yes, those colors looks much better when you showed how they look on your hand than they're swatched.

    I like the comparison to clothes, I get that! :) I guess makeup is even trickier as it can all depend on the way you apply it too. Someone like myself would never get the same result as someone as talented as you! :)

    This is one of my favorite drugstore palettes and it was cost friendly lol! I used this for my holiday makeup looks and it's a great palette to have. I want the Smokes Palette, but I can never find it in stores lol!

    To be honest, I like nude colours and I think I am going to like this palette! Thanks for the tip! I am not a fan of Maybelline comsetics, but I believe this is good.

    I've read a lot about this palette, but you're totally right, Kim, it lacks hanger appeal. I read so much about it that I went to buy it, but was disappointed with what I saw in the store and decided note to. The truth is, I don't need anymore eyeshadow but I think this could be great for travel, so I'm keeping it in mind.

    Each pallet you post gets better, and better! I think that this one would be perfect for me! I am almost done with my grey one, my brown one is half used, and I have a purple one I just started. I think this one has ALL of the great neutral shades!
