DO NOT waste your money on
The Balm's Coconut Milk Cleansing Face Cream. I don't know it's affect on other skin types, but I (dry/sensitive) only had to use it ONCE (and only HALF the packet) to know it wasn't good. The coconut scent smelled artificial. My face didn't feel clean after using it. I felt residue on my skin afterwards. My face also felt dry and a little tight, after using this product. Plus, this cleanser only did an OK job removing makeup. Have you tried any
skincare products from The Balm? I love their Mary, Betty, and Cindy-Lou Manizers (which I'll be reviewing soon), but I can't get with this! You can find all my The Balm reviews
here.

Oh thanks for the review. Too bad it's not good.
ReplyDeleteOoh, I do not like feeling like I've washed my face, then added a different layer of something that feels greasy, or oily, sticky, etc. Thanks for the review.
ReplyDeleteSame skin type here and disappointed! I lovee coconut milk anything and to hear the scent was somewhat artificial is a big no!
ReplyDeleteOhhh, I haven't seen this product but thanks for the heads up, Kim. I'm dry skin too so really appreciate this review!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great weekend lovely. xx

I haven't heard of this product, but good to know I should stay clear of it!
ReplyDeleteThis product would've intrigued me because I love anything coconut but it's good to know that it's just not good for dry//sensitive skin which I also have. Thanks for the heads up Kim!
ReplyDeleteVery clear Kim. Sorry you had to test this!

Wow - only half a packet and you already knew it wasn't for you? That's fast. But better to learn quickly than continue to use it and suffer the after effects for longer, I guess!

This product looks interesting, but after reading your review I know that it isn't as good as I thought. I haven't tried this brand, because it's unavailable in my country, Kim.

Thanks for the warning, Kim. I love all things coconut, so this is good to know so that I'll definitely avoid this.
ReplyDeleteToo bad this disappointed! I adore coconut scent--when it's not artificial smelling. The idea of residue does not sound good at all, either. T. http://tickledpinkwoman.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting us know this isn't good!! It sounded like it would be, too bad you didn't like it! I haven't tried any of their skin care stuff, but have always been curious about it
ReplyDeleteMan, I normally love coconut in anything...bummer.

ReplyDeleteThanks for letting us know Kim. This sounds terrible.
ReplyDeleteSo disappointing to hear! I never tried their skin care products but I recently bought a blush from TheBalm which actually is great...

ReplyDeleteLucky! You only had a sample size! Too bad this didn't work out. Thanks for the review Kim! Btw, I'm so happy you like L'Occaitane! I'm not familiar with their products but I went in one day to buy their hand cream and body cream and I fell in love with them. Can't wait to read your review!

I am not a fan of artificial coconut smells too! It irritates my nose and I keep sneezing like crazy.

Never heard of the brand, sorry to hear it sucked.
ReplyDeleteI actually thought of you today as I walked into Sephora and saw many products you have reviewed.
I restrained from shopping as I was working.
