I am so impressed with Deborah Lippmann's
The Stripper To Go Nail Lacquer Remover Mitts! I've had this sample for MONTHS, so I wasn't sure there would be any nail lacquer remover left in the sample to remove my nail lacquer. HaHaHa When I opened the packet, the mitt was moist inside & out. There was even remover IN the packet! When it said 'mitt', I was expecting something that would fit on your hand! HaHaHa The mitt fits on your finger (finger mitts), so you can remove your nail lacquer by swiping each nail on the opposite hand (suggested by Deborah Lippmann via video below) or you can twist the mitt (while it's on the finger) around the finger nail (LOL, that's what I did!). I am so embarrassed! Do you know, I don't own ONE bottle of Deborah Lippmann nail lacquer? HaHaHa I will have to change that! So instead, I used one coat of Butter London's blue Blagger nail lacquer (reviewed
here). I wanted to test this remover with a really dark polish. I didn't use a base or top coat. This removed all the nail lacquer on both of my hands. The only thing that had a smidgen of blue were my pesky hang nails (taking care of those today! cutting all my nails down & giving myself a manicure! so yeah, you don't see those below! Just keeping it real! HaHaHa). Another thing! This doesn't SMELL like nail polish remover. It has a soft lavender scent. Very nice! Remember this was just a sample, but if you purchase these you get a box of 6 for $12 (1 mitt removes 10 nails w/ polish). If you travel (bus, train, plane etc), these are perfect! TSA won't bark at you! Plus, who wants to travel with a bottle of nail polish remover with the chance of it spilling in your bag, car, etc.!?! Keep these in your office drawer (you know how it irritates you when you chip your nail polish at work and you have to look at it all day). Those are my thoughts! Have a great Sunday!

Deborah Lippmann's The Stripper To Go Nail Lacquer Remover Mitt is Sweet
I only giving Sample Sunday products up to a sweet rating, because of the limited quantity in the sample size
Ooooh it sounds too good to be true! I especially like that it doesn't smell like polish remover. I actually could use this at work. I have done my nails before (I work in an office setting) and started hearing "whats that smell?" So can't really do anything about a nail there. But this could probably work...hmm. Only thing is the price. Probably because it's Deborah Lippmann. I wonder if there is anything similar out there that doesn't cost as much? Because I get a whole bottle of remover for $0.68. That lasts me forever so price wise, it's expensive.
ReplyDeleteStripper to go...haha clever labeling. Oooh, this would be tempting to get for those weeks I try glitter nail polish. That stuff is always a pain to get off!

ReplyDeleteWow - those results are seriously impressive, Kim! I always find it hard to get the last traces of nailpolish off and it looks like this did the job and then some. Definitely adding it to my must buy list!

Wow, these look incredible. I paint my nails often and hate removing the nail polish. I need to get some of these soon.
ReplyDeleteI like this review seems so interesting. I love lavender so it's a plus it does not have that awful acetone scent. Great review!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great way to take it off (the polish that is). :) That blue polish is TDF! T. http://tickledpinkwoman.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteI've never tried anything like this before!! That butter polish looks gorgeous Kim!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great idea and I would love to try it. It is always so frustrating removing nail polish, yet to find a good product.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea...looks super good too :) xx
ReplyDeleteI'd try this and it looks really convenient! Thanks for the review!

Psst! I don't own any Deborah Lippman's nail polishes too. LOL! Terrible isn't it?
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a brilliant product, Kim and I like that it doesn't smell like a nail polish remover. Those smell gives me a headache. Gotta to get this for myself, hopefully I can find it here.
Hope you had a great weekend, Kim!

This is a great idea, and i like that it doesn't smell like nail polish remover (I always start choking after a while of using most removers)
ReplyDeleteI love this stuff; it really works! This is so handy. At home, I use the bottle one. Ever since I discovered this, I haven't tried anything else. A little pricey but worth it considering all the time you're saving because it takes the lacquer off just like that.
ReplyDeleteThis is a must have!

fun name! sometimes there are some gems in our stash of samples!
ReplyDeletethese would be such a lifesaver for me! so neat!
ReplyDeleteI have never seen this, it looks totally awesome. Would be good to take when you have to travel without having to carry a bottle and run the risk of it spilling everywhere. So cool, Kim. Good to hear it works well too.
ReplyDeleteI hate removing nail polish! It's always so hard, and it never seems to fully remove. These little sleeves seem like they would do the trick though! I will have to try them out!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool concept - I had not seen this.
ReplyDeleteThe closest was the on the go pads that you can remove your polish with but this is brilliant.
