Sample Sunday: Laura Mercier Flawless Skin Face Polish

Laura Mercier's middle name should be LUXURIOUS. I've tried her creme brulee honey bath & souffle body cream, and both were divine. This was the first time, I've ever tried anything from her skin care line. I'm happy to say, I'm pleasantly pleased. Having sensitive skin, I was a little concerned about the granules in this polish. They're a lot more abrasive, than the current face polish I'm using. However, I never experienced any irritation or redness. My skin felt very smooth after using it. To me it has a light peachy scent, which is soft and pleasant.. A big plus, was that my face felt moisturized afterwards. Not oily, greasy or heavy. It just felt good. Laura Mercier's products always feel rich initially (and for some heavy), but they always rinse away clean. I give Laura Mercier's Flawless Skin Face Polish $34 a sweet rating (I'm only giving Sample Sunday products up to a sweet rating, because of the limited quantity in the sample size).

    Hi Kim,

    The name of this product already sounds divine. Flawless Skin sounds so ooh la la... It's like polishing your old skin to reval a flawless new one.

    I haven't been around for a looooong time and there's so much to catch up. I'll be spending the next few moments catching up on all your posts!

    haha I feel so silly Kim, you have to teach me, what is face polish? Is it like a gentle scrub? It sounds like a lovely product, I've just never heard that term before.
    You can tell I'm a beauty dunce, haha! You always teach me though, I love your reviews! :)

    Kim, I love your rating system. It's pretty different and unique! I haven't tried very many Laura Mercier products, but from what I have tried (mostly samples), it is pretty good.

    I love this stuff. I've been using it for a year now and have never experienced any irritation. I only use it once a week though. I love how smooth and soft it leaves my skin afterwards. This is indeed a sweet product, so glad that you liked it too!

    Laura Mercier products is one of my favourites. I use their tinted moisturizer every day rather than a foundation. I will try this one next time.

    Would you believe I've never tried Laura Mercier products? When it comes to skincare I'm so brand loyal... but I have to admit, the soft peachy scent and experience with this product sounds pretty wonderful. Maybe I'll be lucky enough to get a sample from Sephora in my current order so I can give it a try!

    I have had Laura M foundation before in liquid form! It was great, but, I found I'm a mineral powder girl for the most part, as it is very luxurious...and a bit heavy for me (mind you, I'm pretty much just face lotion with SPF for nearly all year).

    I've tried a few Laura Mercier products and I've always been impressed with their quality Kim. This sounds like one I would like especially since I also have sensitive skin. I'll have to see if I can score a sample :)

    Great review! Recently, I began using a facial exfoliant made by Lancome (it's a sample), and I've been pleased with it. Glad to hear your thoughts on this product.     I have gotten two of these sample sizes from Sephora so far and it's one of my favourite face scrubs - moisturisers just sink into my skin after using this, love it!

    Hm, as I have never tried and seen polish, I am not sure what exactly is! This product looks nice! Btw, sometimes I prefer samples than big sizes.

    I have been using Laura Mercier flawless skin for a while now and I really like it. The only upside down for me is that it could be more natural product, but otherwise I am happy with it:) But probably won't repurchase it and will look for more natural option. Do you have a recommendation? Thanks
