Who were your Oscar favorites? There were several looks that stood out to me. It doesn't read well here, but Margot Robbie looked stunning. She rocked a razor cut bob, gorgeous necklace, red lip and a Saint Laurent dress that looked stunning on her. She was very confident (a little bit over confident for my taste HaHaHa; the way she kept posing on the red carpet). I wish she would've toned that down somewhat. When you look good, it speaks for itself. People will notice without you putting on a show. Super loved Jennifer Lopez! She was so dreamy in Elie Saab. She looked young (and she's in her mid 40's) & fresh! Loved her neutral look and ponytail. Next for me Lupita! Dripping in pearls. She looked like an angel. I'm also glad she went back to her short haircut. It really shows off her beautiful features. Television host Nancy O'Dell is just knock down GORGEOUS to me! She should've been an actress! I put her up there with Charlize Theron (I miss her on the red carpet)! They both always command the red carpet! The winner of the Aveeno Giveaway is Jennifer R. Congratulations Jennifer! I sent you an email. Picture credits:

Margot Robbie is a very beautiful woman, but yeah, too much confidence would annoy me too! They all look glamorous, I don't have a favourite, I didn't watch the Oscars.

ReplyDeleteWow to so many Hollywoods stars who got right last night.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you that Margot Robbie looked sensational. She was my favorite of the night along with Cate Blanchett and Julianne Moore.
ReplyDeleteRowena @ rolala loves
I have to say - I don't always love Cate Blanchett's style but she stole the show for me last night. That black Margiela gown with the oversized turquoise necklace would not have been more eyecatching!

Just this morning, I realised that the Oscars were last night and that I missed them!
ReplyDeleteI missed the whole thing last night except for when Julianne Moore won...heh! I loved how she looked, and I agree about Lupita. She looked like an angel!
ReplyDeleteHope you had a fab bday celebration, Kim:)
There were so many beautiful dresses this year - the stuff dreams are made of! I completely agree with you on Jennifer Lopez's dress - Elie Saab designs are consistently stunning and she really does wear this dress well :)

I loved Margot Robbie the minute she stepped one the red carpet. That hair, the makeup, bold lip and hello that vintage necklace. I love a pretty long sleeve between the sea of strapless and sleeveless.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't too happy with her over posing I feel like she has to try to master looking less stiff.
Jlo looked amazing in Elie Saab, a nice change from the usual bombshell Zuhair Murad gowns. I just need to see less of her ta-tas. LOL
Great roundup Kim! XO

I thought that all the women looked stunning and beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThis is actually the first I have seen of the Oscars fashion so thanks very much for posting this. I think my favourite is Emma Stone.

hehe I was so waiting for your post on this year Oscars red carpet :)
ReplyDeleteCate Blanchet and Julianne Moore were my favourites and I liked Reese Whiterspoon as well, even is her dress was just simple. But overall I was a bit deceived this year. I didn't find many great dresses on the red carpet and I have the feeling that most actresses played it really safe - except for Naomi Watson who wore a very original dress, though I didn't like it that much. And there were also a couple of 'what were you thinking of' moments but I won't name them hehehe
Nice choices Kim! They're were a lot of best dressed choices at the Oscars this year!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite was Emma Stone, but there were definitely a lot of shining stars!

I think that Margot Robbie is seriously one of the most beautiful women ever. She nailed it!
ReplyDeleteI missed the Oscars, but I'm loving these inspirational and elegant pics! Hugs on your evening! T. http://tickledpinkwoman.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you about your choices and I LOVE Margot Robbie's look, but like you said she didn't need to flaunt it so much because her bombshell look spoke for itself. I also thought JLo looked stunning like a princess and I like Jennifer Aniston's dress, but I wish she would try something different with her hair now and then other than California beach waves. :)

Finally catching up after a few days away. Your red carpet round ups are always spot on and I like the way you categorise the dresses. Cate Blanchett looked so elegant and Jennifer Lopez was stunning too. I don't think there has been an Elie Saab gown that I haven't liked!!
