Milani Romantic Rose Powder Blush & Matte Naked Lipstick Review and Swatches

I received a sample of Milani's Romantic Rose Powder Blush and Matte Naked Lipstick (Color Statement Lipstick Moisture Matte) to review. I love them both. I was smitten with Milani's Tea Rose Powder Blush last year, and the formula for the Romantic Rose ($7.99 at CVS) is even better (less powdery in my opinion). Romantic Rose (blush) has the same beautiful floral design and the color is very natural. Lately I've been wanting a made up look, without looking so made up. Well this blush gives me a nice wisp of color, while enhancing my natural skin-tone. The Matte Naked ($4.99 at CVS) lipstick really complimented the Romantic Rose blush. Matte lipsticks can be tricky. They're like satin and silk dresses. If your lips aren't in proper shape, every line, bump and crack will show! So definitely prep your lips. This lipstick was not as drying. It's described as a medium nude, which I definitely would agree. I've looked at other reviews, and it looks different on everyone. So it truly depends on your skin tone. On my hand, it's a berry color. However, on my lips it's more of a clay. I still love it, but I just wanted to mention that. I hope Milani comes out with more shades of these blushes and lipsticks. I love them and can see myself collecting them. You can see my other Milani reviews here.

    I really want to try Milani however the only way to get my hands on them is through online as Milani is not available here in Canada. Love that lipstick shade on you, Kim. It's such a gorgeous nude shade. I'm still obsessed about nude lips now. LOL!

    Sadly, Milani isn't available here in Canada - but I've read so many good reviews of their products that I'll have to pick some up next time I cross the border. The lipstick looks just gorgeous on you!

    That lippy looks a lot lighter on you than it does in the pic! You are correct, on your hand it does look like a berry. However, I think it looks wonderful. I am obsessed with red lipstick, but this is perfect. Your eyes are so pretty here, and the makeup helps show them off :)

    Hi Kim! I love this lipstick colour. It's like in between a nude and berry. Very nice!

    I'm so happy you received the teas although they arrived early (better than late). I thought about buying the teas and sending it to you directly but I don't know how to pack and I don't want to break the mugs. So glad Davids Tea are so efficient.     the blush really looks nice on you...I was somewhat suprised how different the lipsticks looks on lips as it seems to be almost purple when one looks at it. This shade is has on lips is lovely, very natural and suptle..but I was expecting it to be different.
