Too Faced Soul Mates 'Carrie & Big' Blushing Bronzer Review & Swatches

A blushing bronzer. That's what it says at the bottom of the package! Do you need one of those? HaHaHa Well Too Faced Cosmetics thinks you should have one! They came out with a Soul Mates Blush Bronzer Duo. You can now bronze and blush at the same time! HaHaHa I guess, it saves time. I didn't see many swatches for this product on the blogosphere (only the product itself). I purchased Carrie & Big (coral blush + bronzer). There's also Ross & Rachel (pink blush + bronzer). Yep, they are named after the characters in Sex and The City! This product is for anyone that's scared of applying too much bronzer! You know the too-much-bronzer look (too dark)! Just like the oompa-loompa-orange foundation look! You can't go wrong with Soul Mates because it is VERY SUBTLE! I like it, because it gives me a tan look, that I can't achieve by going up one step darker with my foundation (see here). I swirled my brush throughout the palette. I applied it to my face. I then went back and applied only the blush. What I noticed is you get bronzer, blush and actually a highlighter with this. It's easily buildable and layers well. It's sweet to me, for makeup professionals (remember I'm just a beauty product lover) however, this probably won't be enough. Love the heart shaped packaging and it does contain a mirror. It's a pretty nice size palette! It fit in the palm of my hand and then some!

    The names for the blush-Bronzer are really cute!
    Would you say this is also good for people who've never used bronzer (I have NO clue how to use it, or, what it's for tbh...I just use a little blush). I'm a make up noob! :)

    The packaging is super pretty, Kim! Believe it or not, I only very recently started using bronzer, like literally bought my first one on Sunday! I'm so new to the concept of contouring so I'm taking baby steps and this product sounds like it's made for newbies like me.

    What adorable packaging! I actually have a similar product from Aerin that I love - it mixes blush, bronzer, highlighter and one swipe around the palette is all you need for a perfect glow. Their branding wasn't quite as clever, though ;)

    I think those are so pretty Kim! I saw a picture of the Rachel and Ross one on Instagram! this looks super pretty on you! They kind of remind me of the too faced leopard Bronzers, where it was like a blush and bronze in one!

    the packaging is cute! I don't normally use bronzer since I really don't know how to apply it without looking totally bronzed, lol! This sounds like it would work for me since it is combined with blush and is subtle.

    I think this is so adorable and the name 'Carrie and Big' is too cute. I used to wear way too much bronzer so I'm definitely now on the side where you mentioned not wanting to use too much so I would definitely try this product. Great review and it's beautiful on you and looks very natural.
