Soap & Glory Endless Glove Mask & Hand Cream

Soap & Glory has a number of body butters & lotions. I reviewed many of them here. Well, another item my friend Kizzy of The Dainty Dolls House sent me was Endless Glove. Doesn't the name make you want to sing 'Endless Love' by Lionel Richie & Diana Ross? :) Well, I LOVE this lotion! It's super rich, creamy & moisturizing! It's formulated with EIGHT-OIL AQUA-WRAP™, VITAFADE-BC™, macadamia & grapeseed oils, pomegranate and shea butters. It works 12 hours after you apply it (which is true!). I pulled out my pink spa gloves and gave this lotion a whirl. My hands look so much better! If I could go back in time, I would have moisturized my hands more when I was younger. Lotion, lotion, lotion your hands! They WILL tell your age! This lotion has Soap & Glory's Fruitigo scent. It's grown on me, but all my readers know Sugar Crush is my favorite :) On a sad note, Soap & Glory will no longer be sold at Sephora. I noticed last week, that many S&G items were heavily discounted and out of stock! I'm guessing Sephora has gone up in price in regards to shelf space and Soap & Glory pulled out. Who can blame them? On Soap & Glory's site, there was an announcement that they're in transition to being available on beauty.com, skinstore.com and drugstore.com for US buyers. Also, their prices won't be as expensive as it was at Sephora. So THAT IS GOOD :)

I Love...Strawberries & Cream Hand Lotion Review

I love ...is a popular UK brand, that sells delicious looking bath, body and beauty treats. I love trying international beauty brands and discovered their cute products while scouring instagram. I instantly sent an email to my blog buddy, friend and beauty partner in crime Kizzy of The Dainty Dollshouse (Scotland) asking her about them. She said, Kim they have a wide selection of scents and they're cheap! Well, she sent me their Strawberry & Cream Hand Lotion to try and it is awesome. It truly smells like strawberries & cream. I couldn't believe this was a drugstore brand! I couldn't get over the price! I couldn't get over the cute packaging! Here in the States, we would pay SO MUCH MORE for something like this :( The founder of I love has a really cute story and philosophy about his products: "My passion is for amazing fragrances and the emotional connection created when people are surrounded by fragrances that evoke happy memories and positive emotions in a person’s psyche. My inspiration was a combination of nostalgia, sentiment and pleasure. Drawing my inspiration from my memories of all the things I loved and adored the smell or taste of whilst growing up in the English Countryside. My ambition was to create a catalogue of amazing fragrances all motivated by happy times with family." Isn't that awesome! Well it's a great product and now I want to try ALL the scents! HaHaHa Kizzy, will you send me a scent every year? LOL Have you tried I Love? What scent is your favorite? From what I can tell, they ship to the United Kingdom, Cyprus and Portugal. They can also be found on eBay :S

Milani's NEW Fierce Foil Lipgloss Review & Swatches

It's SAMPLE SUNDAY! Have you tried "foil" makeup? I've seen it for eyes, nails & lips, but never tried it. I was sent two full size samples of Milani's NEW Fierce Foil Lipgloss ($4.99 USD) to try and I'm impressed. The very first thing I noticed was the scent! This lip gloss smells like freshly baked cake with frosting! You'll want to sniff it all day, because it smells that good! Milani, you need to come out with a sweet baked goods collection :) This lip gloss is non-sticky, which shocked the hell out of me because shiny + sparkle + lipgloss is a recipe for major stickiness action. The color pigmentation is nice. It's very build-able. Layer as much as you want. It's SPARKLY! There's major sparkle & shine with this lipgloss. I see this as a party, night on the town or special event lip gloss, that can be worn alone or atop another lipstick. I didn't experience any fall out of the sparkles while wearing it, but if you kiss someone they should expect sparkles on them. HaHaHa When you remove the lip gloss, you'll probably see sparkles around your lips. But, I guess that's all a part of wearing this kind of makeup. This lip gloss does have texture to it, but it didn't bother me. These come in six shades (Milan - Sophisticated Touch of Taupe, Rome - Barely There Nude, Florence - Rich Chianti Red, Venice - Powdery Pink, Capri - Lavender Light and Sardinia - Crisp Clementine Orange) and can be found at CVS and MilaniCosmetics.com ALL Milani products are certified by PETA and The Leaping Bunny Program as cruelty-free. Those are my thoughts guys & gals :) Hope you're having an amazing weekend!

Butter London Abbey Rose Lippy Tinted Balm and Honey Pie & Naughty Biscuit Cheeky Cream Blush Review

Oh Butter London, how I LOVE your nail lacquers! But your makeup? I'm definitely NOT feeling the same kind of love. I'm so disappointed. Gorgeous and sophisticated packaging! Cute product names! But the formulas. Sigh. Let's begin.

Butter London Abbey Rose Lippy Tinted Balm - Not Sweet
It looks like a lipstick. It's packaged like a lipstick. It has color payoff like a lipstick. But it feels like a lip balm. And not a very good one. This tinted balm feels waxy, heavy and artificial on the lips. Abbey Rose is a beautiful shade that looks great (compliments most skin tones), but for me it didn't FEEL great. You can do better.

Butter London Naughty Biscuit & Honey Pie Cheeky Cream Blushes - Not Sweet
There are several problems with these cream blushes. First, pigmentation. There's very little (if any) color payoff. You can apply all you want and the color never builds, which leads to the second problem. These blushes do not BLEND with your foundation makeup! You apply and they just sit atop your cheeks like wax. I blurred my photos on purpose so you could see where the blush stops under my eye. These cream blushes are waxy and when the sun hit your cheeks, you will GLOW (and not in a good way). Also, BOTH of these colors came off PINK on my cheeks. Honey Pie is not PINK. Naughty Biscuit is not PINK. So accuracy of color is the third issue. As Cher from Clueless would say, "From far away, it's okay, but up close it's a big old mess." HaHaHa To the makeup graveyard these blushes go (for me)! I'm trashing mine. That's how much I hate them. So glad I got these on sale. I can't recommend them. Have a great weekend :)

NYX Wrath Wicked Lippie Review

NYX Cosmetics came out with a lipstick collection called Wicked Lippies, the end of last year. The colors are definitely not for the faint of heart. Take a look! One shade however, intrigued me. It's called Wrath. Doesn't that sound like something in Game of Thrones? HaHaHa Wrath is a copper, bronze-y shade. It's highly pigmented, gorgeous shine and is very moisturizing. This lipstick is sexy! HaHaHa It makes all my other cutesy, powder-puff lipsticks shudder. HaHaHa I like it. Do you have any BOLD lipsticks in your makeup collection?

My Spring & Summer Wardrobe Refresh

I cleaned out my closet this past weekend. I really didn't have much of a choice, because temps were reaching 80 degrees, here in New Orleans. Birds are chirping, days are getting longer, and there is a surge of maxi skirts and designer prom dresses making their debut. I swear before blogging, it use to take me almost a week to clean my closet. Since blogging, I've learned to purge and pair down better. I can now go through it in 2 days. Incorporating more neutrals into my wardrobe, has helped. I can mix & match more of the same items. I've been shopping online over the past couple of weeks, to add some things to my wardrobe! I scored a pair of never worn J Crew sandals on eBay for $40. Target had a buy 1, get 1 50% off sale on sandals. I'm seeing lots of white in fashion this year, so I purchased these shorts & jeans from Talbots. I've always been a fan of eyelet during the hotter months, so I also purchased this eyelet skirt & navy striped tee after a cool sale at Gap. Since Aveeno sent me a luggage color Angela Roi bucket bag, I've been loving the color "luggage" (beige, brown, caramel etc.) lately. So this Fossil cross-body bag fell into my Nordstrom shopping cart! HaHaHa Not on sale! Eeek! And Zara had the cutest perforated clutch (also works as a cross body) and organic tees. Their prices are amazing! So this is my Spring/Summer wardrobe update refresh. As you can see, my style is classic, minimal and basic. HaHaHa These items will work with other things in my closet and kind of freshen things up. Do you shop at many different places? Or do you stick to a few favorite stores? I like to mix it up (high end, middle end & low end), catch sales and use Ebates to get cash back.

Eye Exam

I had my annual eye exam a couple of weeks ago. I wore a simple black dress (same dress, different color), tights and ballet flats (sim). When I stepped outside, I discovered my tights to be navy blue (not black, as I thought). I had to laugh, because I was headed to get my eyes checked! Do you get black & blue mixed up? St. Charles Vision (New Orleans) is where I get my eyes examined! I've had the same optometrist since 1st grade (Dr. Glaser)! He is the absolute best! He started off with a small shop and did everything himself. Now he has six locations and people working for him. I love going here, because everyone is so professional and everything is so chic. I bought my Chanel sunglasses from here and he has a great selection of other designer wear glasses. Just wanted to share a little glimpse of my daily life.

The outside is just as chic! I love the eyeglass bike rack! HaHaHa
